Has everyone gone? Kathy, I asked TM if he thought I should find out where you could get one of those attractive ensembs for the necessary room. He did not seem to be enthused(sp).

This morning was an experience. Had to be really creative in getting to car with a 5 and 2 year old, without getting into the mud. Our front yard is a small lake, and could not go down the steps or we could have drowned, so had to climb off the side, which disturbed No Max, who thought it was time More...

HI all! Hope everyone had a good weekend! A poozle to start the week since Kathy's off gambling again. Answers to the "we're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo, how about you, you, you" inbox please!

The following are anagrams of some of the stock you might find in a zoo, with the number More...

Lots of blue sky and sunshine here, but chilly. Frost again this morning, but probably won't make it to 50°F at it's warmest, today.

1:44. Good morning everyone.

11:30 - 25° out and sun is shining the glistening is spectacular, except the white fir trees are becoming green and the deciduous tree branches are raining/snowing as frozen fog returns to natural a natural state.

No gambling involved, Bubbles. Today we played
5 Crowns, Quiddler, Hearts, and Rack-o. Won the first two and sucked at the other two. I couldn't get a good Hearts hand to save my life!
06/Dec/11 8:05 AM
Aw, crud, it's raining again. Should be snow!

Great photo, Eileen! There was a Strawberry Tree growing in a neighbours yard, it was quite a tall tree. The flowers that precede the fruit are so pretty! The fruit is edible & tastes a bit like a strawberry! That one is probably Arbutus unedo from the Ericaceae family, which is native to More...

Don't have time to fight Fiona's puzzle - have to get ready to tutor statistics and algebra 2 for 3+ hours. I may get back later, but I doubt it.
06/Dec/11 11:13 AM
Had to go verify the slowness of the Medium puzzle. It may not have been slow, but I sure was. Now I really am off to get ready to tutor.

Good maEn, folks, Not a lot of response to my question about redundant phrases, only the following arrived:
From Kathy (MD):Armed gunman & favorable approval rating,
From Keith:Bottom line & at the end of the day
and from Peter(which needed explanation):Back to back.
No one More...

I'll try my best, but I may not be here at changeover time. I just got a call from my neighbour. He told me his missus left him last Thursday. She said she was going out for a pint of milk and never came back.
I asked him how he was coping and he said
"Not bad, I've been using that powdered stuff"
06/Dec/11 12:21 PM
Good afternoon.
06/Dec/11 12:45 PM
Haven't been sleeping all day.
06/Dec/11 12:45 PM
But haven't been moving much either.
06/Dec/11 12:46 PM
My body is reminding me it is no longer as yound as it was.
06/Dec/11 12:46 PM
Somehow an 18 hour shift, followed by 9 hours off during which I got 5 hours sleepm only to return to work for 4 and a half hours which turned into 7 hours and during which I had no opportunity to sit down, drink or eat - has taken a toll on me. I'm 'xhausted!!
06/Dec/11 12:49 PM
yound = young.
06/Dec/11 12:50 PM
CP - and I suppose sleepm = sleep.
06/Dec/11 1:08 PM
Oops! all.

Jamie, let me see if I understand the tutorial system. A student (the tutee) needs help in a particular subject. (S)he requests to recieve help (be tutored) in said subject. The school then finds someone to engage in the assistance (tutelage) for the tutee. That person then tutors the tutee. Is the person who tutors the tutee a toot?
06/Dec/11 1:21 PM
06/Dec/11 1:28 PM
No no no HalT The tutor tutors the tutee to toot!
06/Dec/11 1:30 PM
Anne, darn you beat me by one lousy second!!!
06/Dec/11 1:32 PM
HalT - I think I may have to refrain from answering or run the risk of demeaning myself!!
06/Dec/11 1:42 PM
The thing that appeals to me about the tutoring is that it has many of the benefits of classroom teaching with none (usually) of the drawbacks. Especially when I am busy enough I can feel free to say "no" to anybody I don't want to take on.
06/Dec/11 1:44 PM
Ah, thank you, Shosho. So it's a band thing, huh?
06/Dec/11 1:46 PM
Yep, sleepm = sleep.
06/Dec/11 2:09 PM
I toot occasionally. But I didn't need a tutor to learn how. It came kind of naturally.
And I can play several notes. Mostly in the bass range.
06/Dec/11 2:09 PM
Too close not to go for it.
06/Dec/11 2:10 PM
One to go.
