G'day all.
08/Jul/16 12:00 AM
Back home after a nice weekend in Austin visiting my daughter.
08/Jul/16 12:00 AM
Kinda quiet today!
08/Jul/16 12:41 AM
Well, all who are here.

The answers to yesterday's poozle: ascend, sprang, prefer, hybrid, trifle, carbon, camera, hotdog, useful, tissue

Speaking of tissue....winners Judy, Wombat, Joyce, Keith! and Meg receive the ''In Case of Emergency'' Crown for their efforts.

p.s. How you interpret ''efforts'' is up to you.

I still have not had the smilies that I submitted approved. It's been months. I have sent e-mails asking if this is no longer a feature for Supporting Members, but, have heard nothing back. Am I the only one having this problem? I know, in the past, it has taken quite a long time, but this is ridiculous.

2:00 - I should know better than to do the Sudoku at 1:30 in the morning!
08/Jul/16 1:37 AM
Seems late to be able to get the blue Maen.
08/Jul/16 1:39 AM
Hope you had a nice visit, Wolf!
And ... where is everybody? Staying cool somewhere, I hope.

Definitely staying cool here, Cathy.
08/Jul/16 2:55 AM
Complements to the Queen.
08/Jul/16 2:56 AM
Not as cool as earlier in the week, though. Temperature right now is higher than the maximum we had a couple of days this week.
08/Jul/16 2:59 AM
Busy day today, finishing house clean up before the family arrives tomorrow.
08/Jul/16 3:01 AM
Sunny, hot & humid.
We need a bit of rain!

Cabinets going in today. A bit nerve wracking. I am sure that the original cabinets posed as much of a problem with fitting, but I wasn't there for the installation last time. For some reason I figured 'custom' would make it a piece of cake.

I rescued a lost dog this morning. I first saw her preoccupied with 'hunting' for something in our back yard. Since she was busy, I looked for something to use as a leash - my belt in this case. She was easily captured, luckily. Since she looked like the dog who lives about 1/2 mile up the street, More...

Morning everybody
No... it is not time to get up in my house.
Managed a few hours sleep... hoping to get some more when the pain killers kick in
08/Jul/16 4:32 AM
Glad to hear you're comfortable, CP! (I'm a winter lover ...)

I'm sure many know what that photo of MCG represents...but not I! 'm guessing maybe it represents Melbourne Cricket Ground -the home of Australian football since 1859; the main stadium for the 1956 Olympic Games and 2006 Commonwealth Games.... Quite an historical Melbourne landmark!
08/Jul/16 5:18 AM
Oh, and hello all - have a wonderful day!
08/Jul/16 5:19 AM
2:08 Good (very early) morning one and all!
Couldn't sleep so finally got up for awhile. Only 4:48am here in the west.
08/Jul/16 6:48 AM
Good morning all. Spot on Joyce - indeed it is the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
08/Jul/16 7:04 AM
Good afternoon to all! Another very hot day here, The farmers are crying for rain.
08/Jul/16 7:09 AM
Morning all, looks closer to sunrise than dawn.
Has anyone else noticed how hard it is to type when sneezing.
08/Jul/16 7:26 AM
Yeah, I hate yuck on my keyboard and and screen ...
08/Jul/16 9:24 AM
I know what dawn is. I have no idea what MCG is.

9 years, 187 days, 5 hours, 20 minutes.
The days off were there to account for leap years. I went with close enough on this one.

In the today we have Judy and Wombat. Counting assistance for our winners.

Kathy, the last time I submitted a smilie was when I posted the bouncy ball puzzle. That one is still pending. I haven't sent any emails about them though.
08/Jul/16 9:58 AM
I submitted a smiley some time ago (5 years?), but it was refused. I think it was because a middle finger was involved.

The following two 4x4 grids each contain a 12-letter word. Each word is formed by a chain of letters. A word can begin with any of the letters. The second letter of a word is adjacent (either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) to the first letter, the third letter is adjacent to the second, More...

Actually, I never submitted an entry. Because I am an upright, caring and sensitive individual.

But, mainly because I'm not a supporting member.

OK. You can stop laughing now.
08/Jul/16 10:19 AM
Damn, beer o'clock and I missed it.
08/Jul/16 10:51 AM
Change avatar time.....
08/Jul/16 10:53 AM
Brumbies play the Auckland Blues tonight. Have to win to stay in the finals race.

Goooooooo those Brumbies.
08/Jul/16 10:55 AM
Hal, what is there about upright, caring and sensitive that precludes you from being a supporting member. I tried, choosing to pay by cheque, only to discover that method is not now acceptable. As I don't subscribe to Paypal, my hands are tied.
08/Jul/16 11:13 AM
It is good to see the Brumbies avatar is back Peter. I haven't seen a Cat's logo as an avatar yet. It should be a great game tonight against the Swans
08/Jul/16 11:17 AM
I wonder why so many Sudokuists are insomniacs, and which comes first?
08/Jul/16 11:19 AM
