There's a bright, beautiful, brisk, blue sky today.

11/May/12 12:03 AM
The first time for a while Shiela, I'm not often up at midnight these days.
11/May/12 12:04 AM
Kayo, I loved yesterday's daffy!
Especially 'Octopus' - I have found that there's a hidden octopus in EVERY cat when trying to make it do something it doesn't want to do!
11/May/12 12:04 AM
Chris - I'm sure it's much easier for me than you. I'm having my morning coffee!
11/May/12 12:06 AM

Bright and beautiful here, too, Shiela. Quite windy, though. I'm trying to decide whether to work in the yard or clean out the storage room. It's that room everyone has where you dump stuff you don't know what to do with.
11/May/12 12:11 AM
If it's like my day, shut the storage room door and go outside, Kathy!
11/May/12 12:16 AM
all. Beautiful day today. Temps in the low 70s. Had close to 1.4 inches of rain last afternoon and evening.
11/May/12 12:17 AM
Yesterday was an interesting weather day here...
Black clouds, clear blue sky, rain, hail, sunshine - all at the same time! Just depended on which direction you looked!
11/May/12 12:25 AM
Appointment this morning and I am running late
11/May/12 12:50 AM
Sue - Did you get your jacket?

11/May/12 1:47 AM
Here's today's one - answers to the 'can you really go brown in an afternoon?' inbox please!

Listed below are clues that refer to 2 different words. The sound of these words, put together, make a different compound word. Also, just to make things even trickier, when you figure out the More...

11/May/12 3:09 AM
I sent my answers, Hal. Waiting for the whip to come out tomorrow.
11/May/12 3:19 AM
I'm not sure about #4, either, but I sent in an answer. I hope Fiona gives credit for 3 out of 4 right.
11/May/12 3:45 AM
I don't have time right now to think about Fiona's puzzle - MAY have time to get back later.
HalT - we might be headed your way in early July for a couple of days. Trying to work out a trip to see our two almost grandkids.
11/May/12 3:55 AM
Good afternoon to all! Kate, if a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, where's the second rosella?
11/May/12 4:06 AM
Whoa! Talk about slow. I won't be changing the page today. Three hours before a 22.
11/May/12 4:08 AM
Chris, burning the midnight oil I see. No early morning ru planned?
11/May/12 4:10 AM
Chris ru's in the morning? He probably would like a little privacy.
11/May/12 4:42 AM
I like privacy during my ru too.

11/May/12 6:16 AM
Whoa...quiet day today! I think I have done the most "special" job that I have been asked to do on the farm. Seems a couple of pack rats set up a nest under the seat of one of TM's big grain trucks. He asked me to clean it out. The packrats were still there. They More...
11/May/12 6:23 AM
I assume you are referring to #4?
What's wrong with my answer? I EXPLAINED my reasoning! It makes perfect sense! Put down that whip!
11/May/12 6:30 AM
I'm curious to know what you found, Sarah Beth. I've never seen a pack rat nest. They were dead? How could he not notice the smell??
11/May/12 6:36 AM
We once had a dead mouse in the wall and the smell was atrocious! We finally narrowed it down to a place near an outlet and cut into the wall where we found the decomposing mouse. I think I used a gallon of Lysol in cleaning the area. Yuck.
11/May/12 6:44 AM
Good Morning all!
Ugg boots & jumpers this morning.
11/May/12 6:45 AM
Kathy, I think there may have been a smell the first summer (2010). I found receipts and magazines dated 2008 under there. These guys were mummified!
11/May/12 6:49 AM
Karen wouldn't be happy if I left it down here....
