At the risk of irritating somebody, I will start page 3 anyway.

Jamie - your irritation is noted.

2.01 Oh no, not the Hills!
I don't have one of these style clotheslines any more, ours is an extender line, under the verandah. Means I can hang my clothes any time of the day or night, in any weather...not that I do do it that often!

Hi cheeky magpie.

My whole month in Australia, I never saw one of those closelines. I must go back.

Sounds like a perfectly good reason to me, Keith! Hey ... after three trips to Oz, I haven't seen one either! Road trip!

Hello everyone, at our Salt Ash place I had the biggest Hills Hoist that you could get it was great when we had all the family living at home now I have a small fixed to the wall line and my sheets have to be folded in half to fit on it I sure do miss my Hills. Enjoy your day/night cheers.

Today's photo:
After a cyclone, tree branches incompletely transformed into Humming Beans at the base of the remnants of a modern version of an Australian wigwam. The metamorphisis ceased when the wind changed direction after the eye of the cyclone passed over.

Remember what the shop assistant told me when my new rotary line collapsed within one week. That it was my own fault for putting out the washing when the wind was blowing! It was scarcely blowing enough to move the washing.

For those who watch Masterchef, I won't spoil the ending because those in the western states are still to see it but I will say I am very pleased with the outcome.

Keith, when you sat in my sunroom, when you fed the white cockatoo on the fence, stood next to Ken at the BBQ there was a Hills Hoist clothes line in the next door neighbours yard, easily seen.
Both you and Judy are welcome to came back.

If you are not watching The Open Championship, tune in. Never before and never again are you likely to see an almost 60 year old lead the field and a 16 year old amateur playing to par. Bravo Tom Watson and Matteo Manassero. May the best man win but it could be Lee Westwood or Ross Fisher or Retief Goosen.

I hope all you Tasmanians are cheering on Matthew Goggin of Hobart who is lying 2nd and playing the final round with Tom Watson.

Just home from work - a busyish shift where I was slow in completing my paperwork, so had to stay behind until it was done (since i am not due back until the end of the week, couldn't leave it until tomorrow!).
