Good Maen, good people. What a week. (Warning: long post with details follows)

Hubby was out of town and I was caring for two sick adult daughters. We binge watched Chuck and I did most of the regular chores by my lonesome.

Then Monday rolled around and a single doctor More...

So, I may be repeating myself, but I am November-thankful for medical care! I look forward to becoming healthier and am very grateful for the excellent doctors and the assortment of medical personnel treating me. Sadly, it's hard to afford medical care and even harder to find excellent providers More...

Plum! I hope everything works out for you!

Still have your Teddy, Anne?
I still have my last doll that I ever got for Christmas, probably about 60 years ago. It's not a 'collectible', but she's wearing a skirt that I made for her out of one of my old dresses. (I also have a photo of me wearing the dress!) The doll is about the size of an 'American Girl' doll.

Thanks, Shiela. Hey, maybe you inspired the 'my doll matches me' fad?

Holy cow, Plum! No wonder you haven't been feeling well! Glad to hear you finally have a diagnosis and will soon be on the road to recovery.
Quite a long road, to be sure, but, it will be worth it in the end.

I am off to the grocery store. I cleverly did the shopping for Thanksgiving dinner several days ago to avoid the crowds. One slight problem...I totally forgot about dessert. I don't make the traditional pumpkin or apple pie. I make something called ''Pumpkin Spice Dessert''. Well, I do if I have the ingredients.

Somewhere, I've been seeing an increasing number of trucks on the road carrying Christmas Trees on their way to the masses.

Countdown to Christmas

Can't Wait?
How long 'til Christmas?

34 Days
11 Hours
27 Minutes

give or take a day

...But who's counting?

Oh Plum, I'm terribly sorry to hear you are having such a rough time. At least you have a diagnosis and the promise of some management strategies, which I hope will work.
If you find that you need a distraction I'm happy to receive your poozle responses any time.

I, too, came home from Australia with stuffed animals, but mine were all koalas.

Despite all the rigmarole you just went through for diagnosis, Plum, it sounds like you'll experience positive improvement eventually!

Sometimes the only thing which keeps you going is knowing there will be an end & it will be superior to the NOW!

Hal likes a flat tire, or is it a fat tyre, or flat tyre or a fat tire, one of those. Anyway, bottoms up Hal.

I like a Carlton Draught, or is it Draft? It doesn't matter how you spell it as long as you don't spill it. Cheers.

Rage likes Victoria Bitter. If, like rage you live in the Mallee it would need to be ice cold. Slainte!

Peter seems to favour the Tasmanian beers. Boag's Premier Lager would be a good choice or maybe something made by Cascade. Down the hatch.

We almost always have males requesting alcoholic drinks but when females do it is rarely beer. And that's a CP so over and out.
