We had a major drop in temps today. They were calling for a ''wintry mix'' this morning. I saw about 5 snowflakes. It is now 11 AM, sunny, and the temp has climbed to a whopping 31°.

I was out walking early this morning. The pavement was wet but otherwise dry. Towards the end of my second mile, it started to rain, not the usual sprinkles I'm used to but rain! By the time I got home I was drippy wet!!

Oh well I did ask over and over for rain! I can hardly wait to go out to see if the vernal pools in the marsh preserve near where I live is filling up. The last rain, a couple of weeks ago did bring back the Mallards, some geese (heard not saw them). Oh and this morning I did greet a raccoon. Got a couple of photos!

Morning. We're supposed to get some snow. Looks wintry out there, but no white.
