G'day mates.
Here's today's daffynition:
32 Bit Resolution: Motion to spend four dollars.
Here's today's factoid:
In 1963, a man knocked down a wall of his home. Behind it, he discovered an intricate tunnel system with additional cave-like rooms. What he had discovered was the ancient More...

Wow, Kayo! I might find mouse runs in the walls here, but that's about it!
03/Oct/14 12:11 AM

I'll have to read up on that a little later, Kayo. I need to start putting everything back in my kitchen today. YES! It is finished! I'll post some photos on my page for those who are interested in seeing the finished product.....

But, before I do that.....

The answer to yesterday's poozle: HYENA

And, The Bat Crown goes to winners Greg, lonewoof, Judy, Mo, Serena, Joyce, Hal, Peter, and June!

Thanks to those who walked me through on how to approach Kathy's (not Serena's) puzzle. Even after that, I still couldn't figure it out. I've been too sleep deprived since Saturday to properly dial a phone! At least I know what to do should I be awake next time .

As opposed to? I mean, what other kind of radish is there?
03/Oct/14 12:38 AM
Not a fan of radishes, but I love the picture!
03/Oct/14 12:41 AM
Kinda like saying ''red beets''. lol

Pictures are up of the kitchen.....The process took 2 1/2 weeks. It seemed longer.

With those kinds of puzzles, if something doesn't pop out at me relatively quickly, I tend to lose interest and wander away. Yesterday, my added excuse was that I had several projects around the house demanding my time.
03/Oct/14 12:42 AM
The best thing about those kind of projects, Kathy, is when they get over.

a beautiful day in OK
As sunny as it is now would never guess it rained about 3 inches last night and early morning.
03/Oct/14 1:08 AM
How nice to have your kitchen back Kathy! What'll be the first meal you cook? (And can we all come?!)
03/Oct/14 1:14 AM
Those are pretty.

See if you can figure out the words in this 'pyramid' using the hints given below. Each new word contains the same letters as the previous word, plus a new letter. Order need not be preserved.

1) Second letter of the English alphabet
2) To exist
3) Wager
4) Assist
5) Sheep More...

03/Oct/14 2:26 AM
Kathy, your kitchen looks nice. Now that it's finished, you'll have to spend a lot of time in there to get you money's worth!
03/Oct/14 2:29 AM

03/Oct/14 2:32 AM
Beets, too, come in other colors. Google has many sources, among them this recent article:
'The many different varieties and colors of beets adds to the fun..'

03/Oct/14 2:35 AM
Lizzy, your link works. You just need to remove the space between k and f in breakfast.
03/Oct/14 2:39 AM
... and an interesting picture it is, too, of several radish varieties.
03/Oct/14 2:42 AM
Taking a break to do Serena's puzzle.

Silvergal, hubby requested tacos tonight, of all things. Sure, drop by!
03/Oct/14 2:45 AM
Serena, forgot about removing any blank spaces!!!
03/Oct/14 2:51 AM
Lovely, but I've never acquired the taste for them. They're not meat or fruit.
03/Oct/14 3:25 AM
I don't care for radishes or any peppers, they don't agree with me.
03/Oct/14 3:34 AM
Heidi, you missed out on crème brulee the other night.
03/Oct/14 3:36 AM
Will give a shout out the next time I fix some.
03/Oct/14 3:37 AM
It has turned cloudy, almost looks like rain, again.
03/Oct/14 3:38 AM
First Wednesday of every month (yesterday), our church has breakfast for the evening meal. Menu is nearly always omelets, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, grits, gravy, pancakes. We love it, even if we don't go every time... you can't beat it for $5.
03/Oct/14 3:40 AM
Supposed to get cold tomorrow, I call 36 for a low and 65 for a high cold. That is when we have had 80's for the last 2 weeks.
