Had a delightful time with my son and his family. Went to the Western Flight Museum. A small one about two hangar size. My younger grandson was fascinated with the children's play area with miniature planes and rocket. I took his pictures having fun and waiting patiently for others in front of him in the planes.

Then we went to a restaurant where my son, his wife and I had lunch and the boys had breakfast. Again my mischievous younger grandson saw me putting malt vinegar on my fish and chips and wanted to put some on his pancake. To which his parents said no and maneuvered the bottle out of his reach. I gave in and gave him some of my French fries with the malt vinegar which he enjoyed immensely.

what a nice time Shosho --- when my son was in cub scouts - they had a program where you could go to the air field and a pilot would take your scout for a ride

I just caught up with the comments & photos I had missed; I am always mystified how our state chose Blue Birds as our State Bird: The only times I have EVER seen Blue Birds is when I visit my daughter in North Carolina where she has them all year round at her feeders & in her bird house (while the Blue Bird houses my husband has built & hung them by specific guidelines has never interested any Blue Birds!!

Not good news Chris. Take care and hopefully the second fall has not done too much damage. Hate to say this but it takes longer to heal the older we get

Thanks Plum and Arachnid. Still trying to figure out what's going on - the report from today's scans says no further damage has been done but the doctor attending to me after yesterday's fall isn't convinced (she thinks a fairly large chunk bone isn't where it's supposed to be).
