Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in Sudoku land. Don't eat too much. And Happy Black Friday to all my bargain hunting friends. Don't buy too much.
23/Nov/12 12:15 AM
I don't think this old plow is going to get up and get to work ever again!
23/Nov/12 12:17 AM
NO today... it's FOGGGGGY!
Drive safe everyone!
23/Nov/12 12:19 AM
Hello, Kayo! We missed you!
23/Nov/12 12:19 AM
Fog is not good when mixed with deer hunting season. The deer are rather flighty and throw caution to the wind. And then in fog you REALLY see deer in the headlights.
23/Nov/12 12:21 AM

Happy Thanksgiving to all that are celebrating....Just remember the scales will tell all tomorrow!!!
Take care on the roads especially in that fog Shiela!!

Turkey has been in the oven for an hour and a half.
Dinner at 1PM. All are invited!
23/Nov/12 12:29 AM
Been up since 4 AM, prepping, stuffing, baking. Turkey is in the oven, the ham is ready to go. I'm taking a break. . .
23/Nov/12 1:39 AM
Okay, at 10 got to convince the turkey to share oven space with the ham. At 11 turkey goes out and now must teach the corn pudding, outside the bird stuffing and the ham to play nicely in the oven. Hmmm, fingers crossed that it'll work!
23/Nov/12 1:44 AM
Oh yeah, got to get all the rolls or at least a few representatives make it into the oven 15 minutes before dinner. Wonder if my brain will be functioning sufficiently enough to remember???
23/Nov/12 1:45 AM
Right about now, I think where does Santa get all his elf help? I could use some help!
23/Nov/12 1:46 AM
I'll stop now, Keith so you can have your 22!
I missed my 8 but Vici got for me!
23/Nov/12 1:48 AM

Thx shosho. Might I suggest a counter top portable oven that can be stored away except for times like this.
23/Nov/12 2:04 AM
For CP. Happy Thanksgiving.
23/Nov/12 2:05 AM
Shosho, that sounds like quite a spread. How many people are going to be enjoying you hospitality this year?
23/Nov/12 2:09 AM
Me included? 23, possibly 24. I picked up another stray. I got to quit doing that! Four so far. But when I hear that no family nearby to join, going to spend the day alone, I tell them to join me and learn why I'm so crazy!
23/Nov/12 2:14 AM
How big is the counter top portable oven? Might be an idea! Other than the gravy I really don't use the stove at that late time. I didn't tell you about the salads! Broccoli and greens!
23/Nov/12 2:17 AM
You've got your choice of sizes, features and price range. If you need all the counter top space for work area, set up a card table, or put it on the washer/dryer, or wherever it fits.
23/Nov/12 2:54 AM
Happy Turkey Day to topsiders!
23/Nov/12 3:00 AM
Riding bikes today!
Skiing tomorrow!
23/Nov/12 3:01 AM
What kind of music did the Pilgrims like?
Plymouth Rock.
23/Nov/12 3:05 AM

Had to laugh, Shosho, when you mentioned the rolls. I was forever throwing them in the over right before we all sat down for our first Thanks, and forgetting to set the timer. Needless to say, that's how I earned the title of 'Home of the Burnt Offering.'
23/Nov/12 3:10 AM
and to those celebrating today!
23/Nov/12 3:15 AM
One Thanksgiving I had taken the turkey out of the oven to ''rest'' on the counter before carving. Evidently, I had not put it far enough back and our dog, somehow, very neatly, pulled off a leg and was enjoying her meal under the table when I walked back into the kitchen. I was frantically More...

The answer to yesterday's poozle:
123 - 45 - 67 + 89 = 100

Today, if turkey isn't their thing, winners, Greg, youkidme, and Serena receive the basic ingredients for a do-it-yourself meal of hasenpfeffer Bon App├ętit!

How about this one?

Mom and Dad Palindrome kept presents for John and Ron in a special place and gave them out when the boys did something noteworthy.

What did the parents call this storage place?

y'all. Happy Turkey Day to my fellow Americans.

Happy Thanksgiving!
The canned cranberry sauce is usually what gets forgotten, since it's in the fridge...
Recent years, I've made a cranberry Jell-O mold as well as fresh cranberry relish, but Hubby still prefers the cranberry sauce 'with the lines'
23/Nov/12 4:12 AM
Good afternoon to all! I think there might be a turkey hiding in the bushes behind that plow!
23/Nov/12 4:25 AM
So, Thanksgiving Day in the USA....
