Number 4 was my hardest, too, Dotcom & Grasshopper!
'Marm' is not a common equivalent to teacher in this century in the US, but it used to be used in the old Westerns on TV when I was in grade school! It was the only word that fit, but I found 'marm' wasn't even in our dictionary!

Good maen to you all from foggy and cloudy Portland, Oregon.

Someone tell me if it's real or fake.
05/Feb/13 12:25 AM
Real, of course, Serena!
Whether it grew naturally is another story!
05/Feb/13 12:28 AM
Shosho, how is your cold coming along?
Hope it doesn't last a month like mine did!
05/Feb/13 12:30 AM
That doesn't help.
05/Feb/13 12:30 AM
Wait, Serena... maybe you were wondering if it was computer generated?
(Not a very clear photo, is it?)
05/Feb/13 12:40 AM
The pictures come out dark on my computer some time. I can't tell if it is a ''real'' flower or something artsy.
05/Feb/13 12:42 AM
My vote this time would be in the 'artsy' category, Serena.

If I try it as a jigsaw, the pieces are the size of large ants...
How about you?
05/Feb/13 12:57 AM
Shiela, funny size comparison. They're small for me too.

Good Maen to all. It should be a nice Monday in Texas.
I am hoping to see HalT during his Texas visit in April.

Two posts in almost an hour - I guess I had better grade some papers. Surely Karen will show up, or Keith?
05/Feb/13 1:48 AM
We'll wait for Keith...

I'll wait for Keith.

Good Maen, all! I very much enjoyed the discussion yesterday on health care. Despite Jaime's not being able to get health insurance until he qualified for Medicare, we managed to earn enough to fund a modest retirement. My niece and her husband will not be so fortunate, I am afraid. I know the More...

Good morning people of the world.

Thank A Mailman Day

Jamie is correct, it is a nice Monday morning. The sky is overcast and cannot make up its mind if it wants to rain or not and not certain if it is cool or warm. Makes for a quiet morning.

I was confused on how to dress, since the weather does not know if it is cool or warm, so I dressed in a sweat shirt and shorts.

My jigsaw was itty-bitty, too.

Mr. Cee has passed the torch so let me go see what I can find for you delightful poozlers........

Colo Jim, that was hilarious!
Serena, it looks like someone's embroidery craft to me, , ,

Shiela, 'marm' was not in my dictionary either which is why I left this one blank. But 'Schoolmarm' is in the dictionary.

How about a little MATH or LOGIC to get those brain cells moving?

A man ordered a length of rope by telephone from his nearest hardware store. But when he went to collect the rope, he found that the assistant had miswritten the order by interchanging feet and inches. As a result of this, More...

There are times when I am really glad that I stayed up to clean the FPA when I really didn't want to. Today is one of them. I have even unloaded the drainer and half the dishwasher.

Mr. Shadow made the trip down the road to visit the vet today.

After having health insurance for most of my life, I am now a 'freeloader'. I have been covered on my ex's policy since the divorce. This year was not court ordered, but he did try to keep me on the policy. According to him, his company no longer allowed me to be covered. My job fell through, More...
