These flowers are both on the SAME plant.
The variegated one is called 'Pink Ruffles', the salmon one 'Red Ruffles'. I have plants of both which flower normally, with just the one colour.
I believe this feature is called 'sporting', but I don'e know which was the original, and which is the sport. Will have to wait and see if it does the same thing next year !
