Giant Peach

I think you did a great job! If it was any bigger, she'd have a hard time getting around in it. I notice you didn't try to tackle the hundreds of seagulls pulling it along. Wise choice.

I thought about the seagulls but it would have been too cumbersome. I also 'thought about' the sharks and the rhino.

That is a wonderful peach for Laura. I agree with Heidi, any longer would have made walking more difficult for Laura, so a happy accident that it got shorter. The skyline of New York tights she has on, how marvelous. did you make those too? She is planning on shorter shoes that show the skyline on the day she wears this, right?

wonderful job June, you are a marvelous grandmother to Laura!

Well done June. The costume looks really good. I think it would have been too big if it had come down to her knees. Isn't she growing fast, she is a lovely girl.

Great job June..and I could see the top of the Empire State building over the boots...and with the poster being held up, everyone can see how true everything is to the book jacket. I think you've moved to the head of the class...lol.
