MEADOW SWEET

Ray's garden, 2012. I think the latin name for this plant is very romantic - Filipendula ulmaria. It is a 'wild' flower here in UK and grows in marshy ground. It has a moist spot in the garden and the heavy rain this year has very much favoured its performance. It has a powerful scent and is blooming near my front door.
