Rayray, there's also the faster melting of the polar caps which desalinates the ocean. That could disrupt the currents that we have which distributes the heat. That too might affect your causes. We're playing with a loaded gun with our pollution, deforestation. We're already causing our deserts to creep out on larger territory.

Thanks for your constructive comment, Shosho. I shall need to think about temperature effects of altered currents on quake activity. In relation to Global Warming, lower salt concentration in the oceans will certainly affect climate. Some think the Gulf-Stream will be halted by that, which would throw Northern Europe into a bitter ice-age - and - this could happen very suddenly.
