Hi MizT and whoever else is about.
Had a lovely Avon meeting followed by the christmas lunch today at the racecourse in Port Macquarie.
I was No.1 in the top ten for new recruits for Campaign 1 so was very pleased with that.
Have picked up a couple more customers and hope it keeps going this way.
Hubby has been out and about putting out his resume. It is 6 pages long and I have done about 9 copies so far.

Just missed you Broni, 12 past 11 here, and time for bed...a big day coming up tomorrow!
Can't wait.
Before I go, I wanted to say
Viv on making top new recruit.
to hubby. If the effort he is putting into finding a job is the same as his work ethic, he should be a shoe-in.

Good night Gail!
Congratulations Viv!
Good morning all! I don't have time to catch up! Hope all is well with everyone! Brendan and Bryana are home now, Meghan is being picked up today! Very busy day today! Finally closing on the home equity loan that I thought, back in September, was only going to take two weeks! Taking Ian to the Orthopaedic because he foot still hurts. Was supposed to take the kids for their flu shots, but had to switch it to Saturday - not enough time. I'll try to get back before Thanksgiving, but if not, hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! Have a great day!

Hi all, hi Stella
Viv - congrats on being the No.1 Avon recruit - knew you could do it. And the rain and storms here in Qld had eased off until tonight and now it's bucketing down but not storming. Supposed to rain for the rest of the week.
Night all - bed time for me too.

HI STELLA, Bye Stella! sounds most busy week for you with the kids home and Thanksgiving and such. enjoy enjoy, you hear?
I am waiting for hubby to get up to bring in the rest of the groceries! there was barely time to get the cold stuff done. AND the milk is in the fridge, not the freezer! I find it so very handy to have milk in freezer, not have to run to the sotre. OH, in figuring price and how mush I really save by shopping at aldi's , should add in the gasoline it takes to run up to the local Jot-em-down to pick up milk.

OK - one last one from me...
The most unusual thing I ever witnessed while people watching was a family argument between a man, a woman and their grown son. The were yelling at each other, but with sign language. It was years ago in a casino in Reno, Nevada. It was really stunning to watch.

VICI, and everyone else. I am sleeping, just at unusual hours at the present. I had a long nap before dinner, and then fell aslep watching tv. before I even came online at 2 am, I had over 5 hours sleep! I can manage nicely on 5 hours sleep at night and then a nap. It is slowly getting better, and at this point I will not argue about when I get sleep, it all counts in my book.
OH VICI, I can just imagine your viewing of the family sign language argument! At least they were not distubing others hehe.
VICI, Oh My, that is not what I meant al all hehehe, I meant living a light on in the window, and somehow. . . well, never mind!
VICI, did Broni ever get any dinner? we had been chating some also, and she said she had not eaten. Fed the dog to prevent her from meing eaten though. hehehe

i've done a bit of reading. mizt- looks like things are slowly getting sorted out for you. hooray! june and nola- you two are a pair of night owls. i hope you get a nap today. maybe mizt can send a nap your way.
heidi- you almost made me like chickens again with that cute story.
suzy- i need some new chairs, could you please send me some of your tax refund money? how fun to get a new sofa though!
vici- as always i love your posts. i saw a conversation between a deaf family at a swim meet once. they were spread out all around the pool area and just chatted away. i was so noisy in there that they were probably the only people able to communicate.
viv- continuing to send employment vibes to your neck of the woods.
rolonday- thanks for the rena/amber updates. it's nice to have a imaginary vacation through them.
nice to see you too tami, stella, bean, gail, broni, and others.

Nola, I read about a purple tomato recently. It was specially developed for a really good reason. Of course now that I have caught CRAFT disease I can't remember what it was. Whew! Google to the rescue. Specially engineered to have extra antioxidants which may help to prevent cancer.

News story of the day - I don't think I should find it funny, but I couldn't help myself...
A Japanese man has been arrested for releasing hundreds of beetle larvae inside a moving express train to try to scare female passengers, police say.
"I wanted to see women get scared and shake their legs," police quoted 35-year-old Manabu Mizuta as saying.
Mizuta had 10 containers in his backpack estimated to contain a total of 3,600 worms, police said.

I'm finally back!
I had to go to the PO to pick up a chicken, then to the Pain Management Clinic (1 hour away) for a 'scrip pick up (it cannot be phoned in... a VERY controlled substance),Then to a feed store on the way for cat food and heat bulbs for poultry, then past the house and another 1/2 hour in the opposite direction to get some medicated pellets for the calves to prevent them getting sick when we ship them in 6 days. Then FINALLY back home to unload the chicken (an Araucana girlfriend for Chico) then unload the Aureomycin pellets (250 lbs.). I'm tired and I want to nap, but I need to hook up the heat lamps for the peacocks. At least IH is leaving to go visit his parents in a few hours. I won't have the stress for 4 or 5 days!
I might as well read the posts I missed first.

Energy???
What's that? It was a case or "It had to be done, and nobody else will do it, so I had better try as hard as I can to stay awake behind the wheel" kind of thing. It was more driving than I should have done. But IH refused to do the medicated pellet run, and I am the only one who can pick up my methadone 'scrip. As it is, they compare me with my mug shots they took, every time I go there.
