I used to follow this site all the time, and enjoy all the messages and photos, all the more since I had the privilege and pleasure of a vacation to Australia and NZ last January. The snow has made for a lovely white Christmas, and I wish peace and happiness to all. May 2010 be a better year around the world!

Hi Libby - welcome. There is a lot of reading to do on this site to keep caught up. I've only started posting lately; everyone seems very friendly and it's nice to meet people from all over. Where is Wantagh? I live not far from Ottawa in a small town.

Hi, Theresa, thanks for the message. Wantagh is on Long Island, 30 miles east of NYCity, with a direct route in by train. We are on the south shore, four miles from the beautiful ocean beaches at Jones Beach. All the towns on LI seem like one big town...we have about 25,000 people in our community. Great schools, generally good weather, but really changing from my childhood...getting too expensive to live here!

Libby, don't know about the Perkins on the building but the hard jigsaw was the last bank the Dolton gang ever robbed. Most of the gang was killed.
