Hi Bob. Are you changing your site name?
I just wanted to stop in and thank you for the birthday wishes you sent my way. Yours and everyone else's from the site made my day extra special. Cheers, and stay smiling!
Just to let you know that everyone will get (almost) the same message as it easier to copy and paste with the finger problems I have. Take care, and good lick with the procedure.

I never knew your name was Bob! Good name - it's my hubby's, too, only I call him Rob to differentiate from his dad who was also a Bob!
Just stopped by to let you know I'll be thinking of you on your surgery day tomorrow & during your recovery. Hope all goes well.

Hi Bob, I also did not know that was your name. I know this surgery is scary as he!!, I have had 3 back surgeries and my husband had his 4th last July. The part I hated was the back brace but it is vital. Wishing you a speedy recovery and an end to the pain.

Happy birthday Bob.
I'm sure you are probably on pain killers so no drinks from me today, but I'll buy you a few in the future. Take care, get healthy and have the best birthday you can. Many more in the future too!

It's not complicated, Cap'n ...
Each page allows for 40 postings then there is a page turn. Therefore, the new pages start with posts number 1, 41, 81, 121, 161, etc.
TOPP means Top Of Page Post
cp is shorthand for a pun on the term meaning a series of posts in a row:
serial post becomes cereal post, abbreviated cp
Everyone needs an explanation on this one at least once! Especially since there is a woman named CP (her initials) whose trademark is to cp!
A cp series by convention on our site is 5 posts in a row. One tries to get 5 in just to do it, but then someone else has to post before another post can be made. It comes from the "netiquette" (interNET ETIQUETTE) rule that one should not hog the conversation by making too long a series of posts. I sometimes go 6 anyway. We're pretty loose here. Some places 3 or 4 posts are considered serial posting.
22 is Keith's favorite number, and he went and kept trying to make the 22nd post, so others started playing to try to reach it instead of him. It's a purely arbitrary golden ring. I like 100 if I can get it, and since I turned 50 this year, have been liking multiples of 50. Shosho likes lucky 8 because of her Asian heritage. Pick a number, any number...
"Too many years of a life of peril and adventure"?
DO tell! (If you're a retired James Bond, Kathy picked the wrong nurse for you!)

Bob, so nice to hear you are able to walk 2 miles now. Has your doctor recomended other physical therapy? The doctor ordered physical theraphy for my husband after each of his surgeries. They really seemed to help him get his strength back.

Bob, enjoyed the article on hummingbirds. We have some all spring and summer. This week it got cooler and over half of them left. I was using a 10 lb bag of sugar a week for the last month. I have 7 feeders and yes they do fight. The hummers usually leave our area the middle to the end of September.

I too, liked the Bob show. Thanks for the memory. I had the pleasure of seeing one of his shows in DaNang. The whole show was great, but the stand out, for me was Nancy Sinatra, in a leather mini-skirt, singing "Boots".

Hello Captain J. Jane specifically asked me to let you know how much she appreciated your telling her about radio frequency ablation. Because of you she mentioned it to the dr. in Jacksonville today & was happy that he agreed that that procedure could help Jaime. I'm sure she will contact you personally soon! It's amazing what we can learn from our sudoku friends.

Captain J - now I know where all the Oaxaca rain has gone - this is the driest 'rainy' season we have had in the 5 years I have been here. I moved here from N.C. (Charlotte) and this is a beautiful place to live too.
