Very funny! I would have guessed this originated in England because of the spelling of "patronises", but then I noticed two lines later, it's spelled "patronize". In any event, I'm guessing it came from Australia because it reminds me of the Aussies' sense of humor (humour)!!!

I also vote for GB - the fox-hunting, hare-coursing and bathing in blancmange sound very English - though somewhat Monty Pythonish! The mention of patronising the congregation is interesting - is this a church notice?
