I was just reading about the floods on smh and wondered if anyone here had heard from you... and there you are. Are you going to electrocute yourself with the waters coming in whilst being on the computer? Do you have a Queenslander or a single storied house? Is your Mum effected?

Oh, Susan, I just caught up with the past few days' postings and saw your message about the flood waters in your house. I hope by now the water has started to recede and that you were able to salvage as many of your things as possible. I understand perfectly your feeling about "things" not being so important. When we downsized (from 3900 to 1300 sq. ft.) I had to shed many, many items - furniture, paintings, etc., but it was not as difficult as I imagined it would be because I, too, perceived our belongings as "things". I hope all is well with you and your family because, after all, that's all that really matters. Take care and keep your chin up!!! ♥ Jane
