Dear Fiona, I am still trying to figure out how could you have dislocated your wrist...Were you trying to do Karate Chop? Hope all is well now! Forgot to mention how I love your avatar, what a beautiful buble. Great shot!

Fiona, I have been overwhelmed by the kindness shown to me for my birthday. It really does make your day to find well wishers from all over the world have visited with such greetings.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.

Where is she, where's that Fiona. Where are you hiding Fiona??? You've accused me of saying horrible things to Col (is she really a sleeping dog?) You must have said it because I don't remember saying anything as nasty as that to poor Col, so I've come for your head.
I can hear the bagpipes playing so you must be there somewhere.
I'll find you and you will suffer a terrible fate!
I will puncture holes in the bags of your bagpipes so they will be baglesspipes.
HA! HA! HA! HA!

answer to Sunday 4th May riddle - "Two widows each had a son, and each widow married the son of the other and then each had a daughter." Not sure if Cg's guess was correct or not - this is much too complicated for me!

Hi Fiona.
Thankyou for keeping us busy with the riddles, but the answer to the last part of the one on 04/05/08 "two siters and two brothers" seems to come out from the scandal in Austria this past week.

I didn't realize until after I read a few more comments today that I was supposed to send my answer to the riddle via private message instead of leaving it on your page. Sorry! Next time I'll know better.

for posting the answer! I started in the right direction with the 1st letter of the 1st word, the 2nd letter of the second word, etc, but got mixed up in the diamond (too glittery, I'd guess) and somehow put an "m" instead of the "o"! And then nothing made sense! Should have double-checked myself! Fun even if I didn't get it right!

Fiona,
I re-posted your riddle on the next day's posts because I was afraid not everyone would look back to the previous day's posts and would miss your riddle.
Since I was the one who re-posted it, Madby3 sent ME her answer. It was "lightening".

Thank you Fiona for making my birthday a special one.
Many sudoku friends from around the world coming to visit me and wishing me a Happy Birthday have overwhelmed me.
My Husband and sons took me out to dinner to a Chinese Restaurant, and on the Sunday, we had a delicious Roast Dinner at MIL’s.

Gday Fiona, thought I'd pop in here to answer your query re 'frozen shoulder'. I remember some years ago, my mother had two incidents. It seemed quite debilitating for her at the time, the worst thing she struggled with was putting her bra on, and she had a long series of physio for both. Eventually she had to have 'manipulations' under a general each time. The first time when she woke, her arm was in a down position but the second time, her arm was above her shoulder, something she had not been able to manage for a long time. This solution must have worked for her as it was probably thirty years ago and I have not heard mention of it for ages. (I believe it can be due to the formation of calcium deposits or adhesions???)

Just dropping in to say for the birthday wishes....Being remembered by so many was certainly special and made an already good day even better. Thanks for being a part of that group called Sudokuland that extended that special feeling to me.

Hello, m'dear! Long time no talk. Been so, so busy! Sorry. Read about Scott being diagnosed as colour blind. My uncle wanted to become a pilot in WW2 but failed the test due to colourblindness. They took him up in a plane, and the "camouflage" areas stood out like a sore thumb to him, and they realised that he didn't have normal sight! Get the RAF or equivalent to train Scott! Hope everything else in your lovely family is fine. We are all well, but Kelshie is getting old, now, having trouble getting down the stairs. Hope to talk soon.
