Hi, Orianne! It's so good to get the updates on hubby's treatments. Thirteen so far! And you can already envision the end. Each day is one day closer. Hope you both hang in there and gain strength from each other! Prayers continue!

Greetings. I just now noticed the picture of your big grey sink kitty. He/she is a perfect clone to our first cat. (I am a dog person married to a cat person.) Her name was Greta and loved the sink and bathtub. She would chase a wooden thread spool around in the tub for hours without it getting away from her.

Hello Orianne. How are things up there in Ottawa? Have you been hit with this "cold-wave" also? Have a great day/evening. Cheers

Orianne, when things go well on the site, changeovr is at midnight Brisbane Au time. that now, with them on adn us off daylight savings time, translates to 7 am CEntral Standard Time.

Not sure which time zone you are in, maybe Eastern? change over time for Eastern is at 8 am.

Here is a nice little website, free world clock, by cities. http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

Hope that can be of help figuring out our times.

to MizTricial, Gail, Debby, jeb form KS, Mymare, Julie from Il. USA for dropping in and leaving wonderful comments that made me feel I never noticed until today that I had messages on my second page...Wow, what a lovely surprise. Thank you also to all of you that took the time to post wishes for Christmas, I was so impressed that I did not know how to have the time to reach all of you indiidually. Today is not too late to tell you how touched I felt Amdré has 5 more treatments to go, I am so happy...we will be through the day after our birthday...'cause André and I were born the same day and the same year. His doctor is confident that one month after the end of his treatments he will start to feel a lot stronger. We are looking forward to it since we are leaving the first of May for our Campsite in Abitibi and we stay there 4 months. The only thing missing is the Internet...mind you it is a big thing for me...

Hi, Orianne! Thank you so much for the wonderful message! What great news to hear that André is nearing the end of his treatments! Continued prayers for him and for you, and hope he will soon start feeling a bit stronger as each day passes! WOW! Four months at a campsite! It must be wonderful and beautiful! I know what you mean about missing the internet. When that time comes, we will miss you, as well! Maybe you can find a diner/restaurant with WIFI so you can pop in once in a while! In the meantime, I hope all continues to go well!

Orianne, thank you for the kind words about my quilts. I loved making every one of them! Should have started at a much younger age, still so many I would like to make, someday!

I have a friend who knitted me a dish cloth, and I really like those, made from cotton yarn. So thanks for a More...

virtual one! Makes cleaning all my virtual coffee cups much easier hehe.

See you on the board, and if you have time, drop in to Sudokuaholics page ( go to forums, off topic and then sudokuaholics anonymous) , lots of fun there.

Thanks for visiting my page Orianne and glad you enjoyed seeing the birds.
You also have a couple of nice looking grandchildren. They certainly bring a lot of pleasure.
It was very sad looking at Charlot as a puppy as it brought back memories of our Shih Tzu "Susie" who looked just like that back in about 1980! We had her for about 13 years.
We visited Ottawa back in September 2001. A lovely city.
Best wishes to you both.

Orianne, I'm so happy that you posted your paintings...they are quite lovely. Happy to have finally made my way to your page. It has been an enjoyable visit. I enjoyed going through your picture gallery and meeting you and your family.
It is wonderful when our spouses begin to return to good health after a draining illness isn't it? I'm so happy for you both, and hope the healing continues. I'm sure your summer trip will be even more meaningful this year...enjoy! Wish you both the best.

Hi Orianne -- I just viewed your pictures and your paintings are awesome. My sister also does water colors and has done some magnolias that I had jokingly told her I'd like her to do; and I'm proud to say hers almost measure up to yours. I hope you are continuing to paint and continung to enjoy the art. Please keep posting any new or other paintings that you have done; they are indeed a joy to view. Thank you.

Orianne, love your paintings. The best thing is that they are paintings that would look nice on anyones wall and be easy to live with.(Best compliment I can give)
I live in a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales Australia. NSW is a state, as well as Victoria, South Aust. West Aust. Queensland, Tasmania. Also there is the Northern Territory and Aust. Capital Territory ie Canberra.
I answered all this earlier until I realised I had put it on my OWN page so deleted it!!
Doubt if we will get back to Canada again as we have had three trips there in the last 10 years.(to see different parts or people)

Hi Orianne, thanks for dropping in. I'm going to enjoy the sugar pie and vanilla ice cream, thank you. My husband & son will help me enjoy them! My son (26YRS) has a very sweet tooth! My brother lives in Sydney but over the other side (i.e. 1/2hr to an hour depending on time of travel) of the city so we see each other irregularly, usually family events. One of my sisters lives in Canberra which is 3-4hrs away & the other lives in Dubbo (west of Sydney) which is 5-6hrs drive from here. I miss her the most & we have a lot of phone, email & sudoku conversations! The baby of the family lives in NZ, so most of our conversations are by email (eg her husband's avalanche experience.) They had a white Christmas Day night - the Boxing Day email shows my sister in shorts in the snow! I should post that!

Orianne,
After reading today's posting on the easy puzzle I also enjoyed your paintings. What is your medium, watercolor? Joy to the world and choir girls are as good if not better than some of the christmas cards I've seen. How wonderful to have such a gift and to share it. Stand proud of your accomplishments!

Take care,
Aimee :-)

I am really enjoying your art-work. I have visited them morew than once. I especially like the floral pictures with white daisies, and also the 'October' and 'Winter' ones. The winter picture would make a smashing Christmas card.

Happy Birthday Orianne! Just looked at your photo gallery........we have an absolute twin to Charlotte! I don't have a page to post a picture, but if I ever do I will post one of him. I imagine he is a little bigger...14 lbs and very spoiled! They really are total look alikes. He is pretty good at relaxing also, and very very sweet. Enjoy your two days of Birthday celebrating!

to you and a ♪♫♪ ♪♫♪greeting to boot - I hope you enjoy your special day. The sun is out here and looks like it's going to be a nice day - the potholds in the street are terrible - they are like the bathtub monster - just reaching up and grabbing your tire to draw you into a pit -- my husband hit one - I'm 0kay still - but my younger son is driving - so I have to warn him of the dangers... Well, once again - enjoy your day and a very to you, Mary
