I knew if I kept quiet, you would be driven to expose you true cryptic nature, i.e. 'Why don't you know what I am thinking?' or 'Listen to what I mean and not what I say'.... Its a loosing battle around this household for me as well.

I've looked at your pictures and they're great - what a wonderful family you have. 5 beautiful sisters, you are blessed - I'm an only child... I grew up with 4 girls on Galley Ave. hence we are the Galley Gang. We are the ""little kids"" and their ""older"" sisters are the ""big kids"" (They're 3-4 years older). Orianne - I am so glad you liked my pictures! I think the Dobro is the same instrument as the Hawaiian Guitar. I know they play Hawaiian music on the Dobro. I still have to master that one as well as the violin. I can chord on the Dobro, but I intend on playing songs by note. I can play most songs on my violin, but I want to fiddle! I have a lot of practicing to do! I have a few friends coming over this evening to "Fiddle around." (Autoharp, Banjo and Fiddle are coming!) We will have fun!

Orianne , i kept you working may be you had some thing to do , we both are from the south but different places of the borders , far from each other about two and a half hours drive , i know this is near in Canada , but here the country is very small . It is good she still remembers the names , may be she wasn't so young when they left here .

Hi Orianne: Stopping by to say Happy Easter to you and yours. Spring has arrived... yes it has, don't let the snow fool you. We have a foot or so on the flat, expect you have more. Next weekend (my birthday) I'm going to Toronto to meet up with my Galley Gang, there should be about 10 of us (my 'sisters'... not bad for an only child). Hi Orianne, thanks for returning Easter wishes. I know what you mean about relying on others to remove your snow. I live in a modular home in an adult park where we too have snow removed. They've actually been very good this year and it really is my only sometimes complaint - I love it here. There is soooo much going on and so much to do. Where is your trailer. My cousin in Nepean spends much of their summers at Christie Lake - a lovely spot. Well, today is another sunny one (still cold though), so lets enjoy the day and again Happy Easter to you and yours.

Thanks Orianne, I spent a month in Quebec (Montreal, Quebec, Chicoutoumi, baie des chaleurs, Percé etc... in 1989 and wedreaming to go back there as soon as my husband has retired! We even thougt of emigrating there (I have some cousins in Montreal) and our 15, 12 and 8 years old children (at the time)were enthousiastic but my father-in-law deceased suddenly and we "chose" to stay for my mother-in-law who was in a very sad state! It's too late for us now but my 27 year-old daughter has got the virus and would like it very much!

I am taking the opportunity to jump over my own page...cool! By the same token I want to wish a Great Easter to all who came and visit me.

Orianne - yes, it was/is Sunday. I am usually at school in Sunday, because I am a lot like the kids - I have a LOT of trouble doing school work on Friday night and Saturday!
This has been a particularly tough year because I have a new textbook, and I am pretty much having to prepare lessons every night. New quizzes, new tests, new final exams. Long year. I am ready for summer!

This is very belated, but thank you very much for the warm St. Paddy's Day wishes.

My family goes all out for our celebration and it is quite a family affair. In Pittsburgh we have one of the biggest parades found in the USA. This year it was attended by my family (hubby & 2 teenage daughters) along with my hubby's 3 brothers and their grown children. It was wonderful having all of us together and it gets quite crazy as the day goes on. My husband is 100% Irish, but believe it or not he didn't regularly attend the parade until I came along and I'm not a lick of Irish. Well, there I go rambling on, thank you again for thinking of me!
