Hope Harry's therapy works well. I have a good friend who has had multiple back surgeries. Her last one was during the winter - none of us would let her step outside. Watch those new hardwood floors. We don't want Harry inadvertantly doing a Tom Cruise 'Risky Business' imitation. (Maybe he would prefer the Heidi Klum version).

my life has been extra crazy for the last year and a half or so, so I rarely read the chats and really almost never post. But I have been doing the puzzles and enjoying your flower pictures so much I wanted to let you know how lovely I think they are. Then I visit your page and learn that you have a garden full of flowers (I thought perhaps you visited botanical gardens etc, but you seem to have one of your own! I hope your garden is resilient enough to "weather" our warming globe.

Thanks for your Birthday wishes. Mom flew up here for the weekend and we celebrated with a huge 10½" Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie. I have to admit it was one of my best and hope you enjoy a piece with me for breakfast/lunch.

It was 100° both days over the weekend - was suppose to go up to 106° today but is now slated for 95° today. Going to a BBQ tonight & sharing ice cold cherries.

Hello Sue - thanks for leaving the message about the rocks on my page. They certainly have a lot of colour in them, like the rocks in our north/west. They must make for a very colourful border to your plants.

The doctor show on TV has been commending 4000 to 6000 units for some things. My doctor said my blood tests show I'm really low, so he said 2000 units, but I'm only taking 1000 units a day at night with food.

Thanks for your nice comments on my recent pix. I enjoyed taking them.

Sorry you missed that particular scene in Skagway. Our ship was berthed at the furtherest dock from town and we had to walk past that park to get there.

In our three Alaskan cruises we always went to the same three towns; Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan... never made it to Sitka. Barbara went on an excursion to Haines on one of our trips. (To buy some underwear, I think. )

I haven't looked at your gallery in a while, so peeked in again tonight. Scary Halloween pictures.

Hello Sue - thanks for your comment about the bursting pipe. All is fixed now thanks to my neighbour's young grandson. It was just thankful that I was close by otherwise I would have had one badly flooded house.
