Thanks for taking my tour. As you can see this is a beautiful neck of the woods and why I love it so much. I just added 3 more pics to the tour - they were taken in my back yard of an 8 point buck, earlier this year.

When I downloaded the photos of the quilts (our Church is having a bake & quilt sale Fri/Sat) that were draped on the pews last Sunday, I discovered that there were several photos that had not been downloaded - these 3 were among them. The quilt photos are in my gallery.

Ouima thanks for leaving a message. I've just had a flick through all your photographs and they are wonderful, especially the one of you all together. Sorry we couldn't catch up but maybe one day soon. I used to live in London for about 10 years and got to know 'her' pretty well in that time but now I live about 2 1/2 hours away near Birmingham in a small suburb. I adore Jazz and I'm going to St. Lucia at the beginning of May to the St. Lucia Jazz Festival, some pretty big names are going to be there and I am so excited about it all, can't wait. Mamacita - I will be thinking about you and Sully! The decision on my knee is going to be partly health based and partly financial. It is going to have to be replaced eventually. Several times recently it has felt like it was about to buckle on me, and it is hurting more as the weather moves in and out (that is more arthritis than knee damage, but it is all part of the package). But, the shoulder surgery also pretty well used up my out-of-pocket requirements for the year, so if I get the knee done before school starts, it would be a very inexpensive operation as far as those things go.
I am going to go visit with my orthopedic surgeon in a couple of weeks and talk things over with him.
All my best to both of you. How is the new grandkid doing?

Hi Mamacita! It is so good to hear from you! How was your trip? I am looking forward to seeing some pictures. I am still at my mom's and will be returning home on Thursday. Yes, I did meet up with Kathy/Valrico, Chalkboard, and Carol/Punta Gorda and we had so much fun that day. We talked, laughed, talked, laughed. It was such a great day! Please check out Kathy/Valrico's page. She has pictures posted. I will post my pictures when I return home. My mom is in pretty good health and the doctors thing they can help her. She has fluid on the spine near the facets in the lower spine. They have presribed injections with her local pain management doctor. Thanks for stopping by. I always injoy your visits.

Mamacita for your prayers! We are very thankful that our prayers were answered! My niece Beth was released from the hospital this evening after 10 days in the hospital. She will continue with IV antibiotics for another 5 weeks at home.

Hi Mamacita! I got back from Texas last night and am catching up on posts to my page. I'm glad you enjoyed the Egypt photos. As for my smilies... it's kind of a scatter gun approach. I usually Google a subject (ie, chicken soup)then start wading through the web sites to find what I like. Very time consuming, I'm talking DAYS here! If, in my searching, I find something I think I might use at some point, I resize it, save it and submit it. Gath is no doubt questioning my sanity! If you are looking for somethings in particular, let me know, and if I come across them, I'll save them for you.

Hi Ouima! I am off to play cards with my group tonight and I wanted to thank you for suggesting Fan Tan. It's such a fun game. It was easy to learn and goes very quickly. All of us can play at the same time, that's a bonus. I was at a yard sale last week and was able to buy poker chips in a very spiffy rotating holder. We'll be using those tonight instead of jelly beans! That's all the hostess had at our last games' night, but at least we got a snack at the end of the game! from all of us!

Thanks for the good wishes on Nora Hope's birth. Nora and big brother Payton and mommy and daddy are well.
