I am going to see Harry this Saturday and have been shopping today. I got the cutest baby bunny rug with ducks on it and they had a matching (what they call) sleeping bag. Very expensive but I couldn't resist.

Thank you for the chardonnay, Anne.I've got some home made Pineau for you. It's a local drink made with freshly pressed grapes and cognac when we harvest; you put the mixture in a barrel and you wait the first frost to drink it icy. My husband makes that every year and we always have a ready bottle in the fridge!And yes, I posted last year, I spent 3 months at home after an operation then I stopped by lack of time when I came back to work. I retired last month and I've got plenty of time now!!!

Anne lovely of you to visit, the wine is a most welcome includion to the cellar. I only have home made quince jelly to bring to your table, although I can really bake delicious pumkin fruit cake so I will leave that too. Rola did suggest that we meet up at the Eliabethan Village one day. It would be interesting to meet people, one can only imagine what they are like!!!!!!!

When I was setting up the page the Pinnacles photo kept coming up instead of my own one, so I left it. Still can't find mine, it is in the ether somewhere. Photography is something I enjoy immensely but I don't belong to a club. I do admire your photos. I will keep trying to get an original. As MizTricia will tell you I am not the brightest!!

Hi Anne, thanks for visiting me. Yes that is me in the photo - Chenonceau Castle was one of my favourites in France. It is interesting that your photo on this page was taken this time last year, as was my France photo (almost to the day).
My husband is French & all his family live there. I have been 3 times with him, have visited the Loire Valley, Provence, Lyon & Alsace, & of course Paris. HIs family live in the east of France & we spend a lot of time there, so have travelled around that region a lot. I agree it is a beautiful country.

anne, hi! hope you are home from work! did you get to matapichu (can't spell it!) and did you really walk into it? if you did, how hard is it to do? what an amazing experience!
