Dottie, in answer to your query re the creases in my bell-bottoms. Yes we only had them in our dress uniforms (blues and whites (tropical)).
The uniforms were meant to be able to be folded up and stowed in a locker rather than hung up.

You are on Dottie. Blueberry muffins in Cleveland. May not be for a couple of years so keep the oven warm.

Hi Dottie, thanks for visiting my page. Quite a few of those photos have been submitted for the sudoku jigsaws. I might sit down and add a few more, though. I'm pretty lucky to have so many birds visit my garden. It helps to have an area of natural bush along our back boundary and that along with the native trees and shrubs we have planted encourages their visits.

Hello Dottie,
Thank you for visiting my page and photos.
This is my first visit to your page, and I went to see your Gallery, but there is none. I know how hard it is to get photos up on site; it has taken me a lot of time and many tries, but as with most things, the more you do it the easier it gets. A bit like when you first learn to drive a car, you are sure that it will never be easy - but it does eventually get come ''good''.
Enjoy the site, it does get addictive, but it is also a lot oif fun.

Hi, Dottie, thanks for all the 'heads up's.
I need to figure how to e-file taxes. I've always had a local 24-hour grocery service desk date/time meter stamp my returns so I could mail them after the post office closed. They have a new machine that prints the next day's date as soon as the mail is picked up every day. 8 p.m. saw me driving to the big city (Kalamazoo area) to drop my mail in a huge bin at an all night mail sorting facility. It took an hour and a half of frantic phone calls and lots of driving to discover the 'loophole.' Not next year, boy.
I LOVE steamed baking powder dumplings on top of herbed beef stew. YUM YUM YUM.
It appears you joined here just as or after my computer broke down for good. It was before the Frankenstorm hit. Glad to see you've settled into Sudokuland so well. I look forward to getting to know you.
My mom's name is Dot and my parents were living in Parma when I was born in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. I remember my mom teaching me to spell Cuyahoga because I may need to fill in my county of birth on forms some day.
Well, I'm off to do some grocery shopping and then I'll see what Mr Cee was up to. Hope he didn't use the name of Plum in vain!

Hi Dottie,
Thanks for your visit to my page. Glad you enjoyed the photos of the Gardens in the Southern Highlands.
I've been a little slack with my visits to the site lately. It is now late autumn here, with winter coming in a couple of weeks and there is so much to be done in the garden -weeding, pruning, planting to get ready for a bountiful spring.
I've also found a couple of sites which I enjoy -
7 little words - one which another sudoku member
''spoke''about, youplay.com an australian site which has all sorts of ''games'' and then jigidi which is a wonderful site for jigsaws. Have a go and se what you think.

Hello Dottie
My trip is a cultural one (partly because I couldn't stand just sitting in a train with no adventure) and because this particular one is fully escorted, which I would prefer in the countries I am visiting.
I fly to Hong Kong a day ahead so that I can see some of that city, and we catch a train to take us across China, visiting a lot of places in the cities we go through. The terracotta warriors, the Great Wall, etc., and at these place we stay in hotels.
We go into Mongolia and attend their Naadam Festival for two days, which should be quite spectacular then stay up in the Mongolian Steppe in a ger camp for two nights with the locals.
We then travel (all by train) into Siberia where the real Trans-Siberian journey begins for us. We visit the largest inland fresh water lake in the world, Lake Baikal, and stay at a guest house.
We then to across Russia to Moscow for a couple of days then onto St. Petersburg, where the tour finishes.
I am then going by train to Helsinki in Finland for a couple of days then to England to visit old family friends.
By then I shall be exhausted, but happy. Just hope I can manage it all.

Dottie, my camera is 9 years old but there was a lot on it that I could never understand. I've taken thousands of photos with it over the years and will take thousands more before it wears out.

Hello Dottie - thank you for checking out my latest holiday photos and for your comment on easy. It was an amazing trip and although I was a bit off colour I didn't let it bother me except missing out on a day or two's sight seeing. I managed the Great Wall of China so that was okay, just missed a day each side of that day's trip.
Cheers,
Anne

This is copy & paste message about the Sudoku Easy Jigsaw Problems:
They went wild after one of Gath's changes. If you go back in the beginning (15th May 2005) & check the photos in the archives you'll find that the only jigsaw is the torso in the black jumper with the white coffee cup, you'll find that photo as the jigsaw on every Easy Sudoku page up till the 12th of January this year. I did comment on this earlier this year, but I'm usually commenting when no one's around!!!
I'd say the photos we're getting are the ones from the Easy pages that don't have a home any more! And the off sized ones are possibly the very early reward photos for finishing the Sudoku!
So I think we just have to accept that the Easy Sudoku jigsaw is going to too big or very small, more frequently than being a good size!!

Well, Dottie, I was going to wait for your actual day, but tomorrow is jammed packed, mainly with school stuff. I know after a day, with 24+, sugar high, holiday high, last day of school high, 2nd graders, I will not remember my own name, much less anything else.
So, 25 minutes away from your day, I will wish you the best advancing day ever.
Hope your recovering is still going well, and you are resuming your life. Take care.
