Judy, both your dogs are adorable. Sorry to hear that Patches has passed, but 13 is pretty good for a Boston. Our Teddy is 7 in a few days, and Max will be 2 next month. He still has a lot of puppy in him and is a handful! His parents were 15 lbs each and I was figuring on a nice small dog. Not so! He is 32 lbs! He is one big Boston! Thanks for sharing!

G'day Judy! I saw your comment on my photo of Milo, my grand-dog. This is the first time I have been here to your page, (don't know why, just missed it) and now I can see that you're a real dog-lover. I don't have one of my own but my last lived to 17 years. Tragically I backed the car over her as she lay down in the sun after I had got in the car. She was very deaf by then and just didn't hear it and get out of the way. I could never go through losing another pet, but luckily I live only 2 blocks away from Milo and I borrow him quite often.

Hi Judy. To answer a question from a few days ago -- I don't remember offhand what type of fish my "Live Entertainment" is. I painted it about 11 years ago, and there have been many fish paintings since. I will dig up my notes (yes, I keep them all) from that piece and let you know soon! I was more concerned with the colors than I was the species at the time, so the species doesn't stick out in my memory.

Hi Judy...I was just reading the comments on my pictures - what a blast to go there and find all the comments!
The one where my friend and I were going to a concert? It was a B52 concert...their most popular songs were probably "Love Shack" and "Rock Lobster". Kind of punky, "alternative" rock of the '80s. We decided to dress up because the band has a following that do the same. I did smoke and drink back in those days...but quit all that in 1986...just didn't quit the fun! The best part of the concert was during the song "Rock Lobster" when the band sang the word "down" and everyone hit the floor. In the crush of the crowd, I did fine because I'm tall and had 5 inch healed boots on. But my little friend had a harder time in the crowd!

Kate, if you could see my computer desk you would probably take back that note about my being organized! I'm very organized about my work (painting, now) but the house is a whole 'nother story. I'm a packrat, but not (yet) a hoarder, LOL.

OK, we'll try again - my first message was lost somewhere. Thank you for the birthday wishes! I was in your state last March visiting relatives in Tulsa and Vinita and attempting to find my great-grandmother's grave in Fanshawe. I loved the geological variety driving there from Bentonville, Arkansas, despite the severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings. We stayed dry until we left the cemetery, so we had a good time. I loved your photos of the festivals, old barns, friends, and pets. And, of course, the one where you're having a great time on a cruise. It was good to meet you and I'll be able to picture a face and place when I see your name now. Thanks again for your visit!

I have been out most of the day lunching with my friend as she is on holiday too.
The Coweena nickname is just a name I made up when I played games on some of the websites and they didn't accept Colleen on the Flickr site so I had to think of something else. No great story there I'm afraid.
I am so pleased that my flowers gave you some pleasure feel free to drop by any time as I add more all the time since it is Spring and all.

There is no bed like one's own bed! Hospital may have its advantages but peace and quiet are rarely included. I do wish we could grow old without all these aches and pains! Take care.

Judy - how sweet of you to stop by! Hubby and me are heading out on a little driving trip up into Oregon (we leave tomorrow) - I'm really looking forward to getting away for a little while! I'll be taking the laptop to stay in touch.
