Rosemary, I was so sorry that we were unable to meet today but I understand completely your concerns about your father's health - besides, there was the small matter of us steaming past your place at some ungodly hour in the morning. Sorry, but we wanted to get back to Sydney before the holiday traffic became an issue. Maybe next time.
I do hope that your Dad is as comfortable as possible and that will recover fully. It is a nasty ailment, but medical science is pretty good these days and I have seen some quite remarkable recoveries. Stay cheerful and optimistic. Best wishes from both of us.

Sorry about your Dad - it is hard to watch parents age and it can happen so suddenly. At least you are close to each other. We live fairly close to my parents, who were very independent until they hit their 70's. It seemed they wore down almost overnight; Dad was diagnosed with Altzeimer's 18 months ago and that has been a sad journey. You are right, we have to enjoy them while we can.

Hi Rosemary,
Have been a little busy lately and haven't been able to read all the posts. But from what I did get to read, I find your father is ailing. For your sake and your family I hope the outcome is the best. I know how hard it is when your parents who have been the pillars of your life become weak health failing humans. I commiserate with you since I'm going through the same. Come on, girlfriend, we can make it since we're the ones who need to be strong for everyone else. But just you and me together, we'll cry softly for the little girls inside us.

Hi Rosemary
I was thinking about Ethan today and decided to send wishes. I remember the day to day anxiety we felt during d2s first year. It is very tiring! Sending the promised wishes to you and yours.....

ROFL!!! Loved the bunny poem! Needed the chuckles! Today will be the first visit since we took mom to the nursing home. Strange it's been just a day but I'm a little fearful of seeing her since the nurses have told me of her behavior of wandering around disoriented wanting to go home. First things first, she needs to be rehabilitated physically which will be a long haul. I've told the nurses that I think she had a mini stroke due to her left half of her face sagging down in contrast to her right, her stumbling, and her wildly shaking hand all on her left side. Sorry for rambling on, I guess I needed to talk to someone. Thank you for letting me talk. You can erase this if you want, I don't mind. But thank you again.

Hi Rosemary! Did you & Angie ever find that wascally wabbit? What a fun way to go visiting around Sudokuland. I admire how you always seem to keep up your spirits & fun-loving attitude even when you are faced with problems like a sick father & sick son. Glad to hear they're both doing better. LOVE the sweet picture of Taylah & Ethan. I'm sorry I don't get around to visiting people's pages more often. Hope you & your family are having a wongerful Easter Day. God bless you & yours.

Rosemary: Good thoughts for your Dad being at home and doing well. Maybe the fresh air will be all it takes to get the "cobwebs" out so he can function perfectly normally again (whatever that is!).
Also, my prayers for you to be able to take a deep breath and get some much needed rest.

Thank you for your kind words about our loss of Simon. We're getting through it, though it's harder than we expected. He was such a joy to us and held such a big part in our hearts and home. Our cruise helped keep our minds off it until we got home. May your Dad's recovery go well.
