MizT- you are up late tonight like I am!! I wish I had time to keep up with all the comments on all pages like I used to. But now that we are traveling so much I very often get way behind, & I finally just told myself it was OKAY if I didn't go back & read EVERYTHING. Canuck Greg shot me down a long time ago when I suggested a place for updates on special situations to be posted for people like me that aren't around every day. He seemed to feel that if we truly cared about people we would find time to keep up with their activities. It's not that I don't care, it's just that I don't have enough spare time to spend hours at my computer. So I really appreciate your giving me a way to find info I've missed. I'll be anxious to hear that Heidi is back to normal again & will also look for news about Susan in the midst of the flooding where she is. Seems there is always somebody somewhere in Sudokuland to worry about! Hope you stay warm, safe, & dry where you are.

Hi MizT, that photo is from before christmas. They were preforming at a presentation day for some women who had been through a grooming and deportment class at one of our local employment agencies. I found this on a friend's facebook page and 'stole' a copy. Shhhhh, don't tell anyone...

MizTricia: Maybe we should encourage output from mad pleasant mods by initiating a "Wood Nymph Club". Remember that there is a giant one who causes 70% of all wood nymphs to fall below average height. Wood nymphs become deeply resentful if they are shorter than average, and are intent upon decapitating the giant - if for no other reason than that will make her shorter so more of them fulfil the average height criterion for Wood Nymph success in life.

By the way I never being amazed by the diversity and splendour of your art work illustrated in your gallery.

Thanks again for making me feel so welcome. Me and Him (Robert) are heading off from here on the 23rd May. We are doing a road trip over five weeks, and going to LA, SF, Bakersfield, Las Vegas, Kingman, Flagstaff, Gallup, Albuquerque, Tucumcari, Amarillo, Oaklahoma City, Dallas, Big Spring, Old Elpaso, Tucson, Yuma, San Diego and Back to LA. Then fly to Honolulu. I'm exhausted just writing about it..!!

Photos are too small to do them justice, of course - best in show quilt is king bed size. Back of it was superb too!

Also, a link to Helen Godden - she, of the Screeching Cockatoo quilt. She had a fantastic quilt in the Sydney show of a man on a horse (very inadequate description) - it was awarded The Hangers' Prize/Pick.
