Wow...looks like I missed your birthday...belated greetings....

I just looked at your virtualtourist photos, and they bring back memories of more than StL- I always loved Pensacola Beach. Also, the Lake of the Ozarks and Alton Lake photos make me smile. I spent the Bicentennial 7/4/76 on a cabin cruiser on Lake of the Ozarks, where I watched the fireworks across the water from Tantara. I wonder, is "The Clown" still open, up by Grand Glaize bridge? It was a waterside place where they would serve you right in the boat, a "Sonic on Water" if you will. I have not been to Lake Ozark since about 1985 or so, they had just opened the new Grand Glaize bridge. We stayed way up the Little Niangua. I also liked seeing photos of the Cardinals Victory Parade, a friend was there and called me live at the time! If you look in my Sudoku photo gallery, I have a great closeup of Tony LaRussa, taken here in Jupiter during spring training. I have not had the chance to miss St. Louis much, I was there about ten times in the last two years, the most recent time was early August- when I had to use 44 to get downtown from Kirkwood because 64/40 was being rebuilt. I am looking forward to seeing the StL Blues when they come down here to play the Florida Panthers this season!

Happy Birthday! I expect your birthday is actually tomorrow, since the date on the site in on Aussie time, where it is already tomorrow. I know from a friend that having a birthday right before a holiday is not fun- her birthday is December 26 and she always had crummy birthday presents, on the day after Christmas. I hope that having a birthday the day before Valentine's Day does not lessen either.
