Today's puzzle has some interesting manners in which it can be tackled. Some of these are explained in yet another new blog post.

Wow! I thought this was an animal before it came into focus! What an interesting place! It is amazing how some of these rocks are formed! Thanks, Wilodene!

1. a6=1,locked 2s at ab5.Unique possibilities to 30.
2. If g2=8=e6=d8,c8=7,pairs 34 at cd3;16 at e13,f4=1,f5=6=g4,locked 5s at hi5,d4=5.Now,the 34 pairs at c34,d35 and e4 contain an inherent contradiction.eg.if e4=3,c3=3,column d is devoid of 3.The same applies to e3=4.Hence g2=6.Ups to 81.

Would the entrances have been as evident when it was actually being used? Seems as if they'd want to have the storage area a bit more low key...

This boulder was just one among many up high on a steep mountain. The entrances are not evident when you are looking up at the mountain. And, yes, I'm sure they covered the entrances to prevent animals from sharing their storage. We had a book with old photographs telling us general directions to the storage cave, but it took us about a half hour to climb up to it from the path. We had the whole mountain to ourselves and what a view! I would like to add something worthwhile to the storage cave if we go again. Something that would surprise and delight another visitor. Any suggestions?

I live very close to these formations. I could walk there if I took the time and made the effort. The whole state is full of places like this. Very cool place to live. 12 min
