Possible proof of too easy sudoku of 10 12 06:

1) Start at 22 filled - the given puzzle. Unique Possibilities to 24 filled. (UP 24).
2) fc on 6's: g4 == g1 -- h2 == c2 forbids c4=6 UP 57
3) fc on 9's: i5 == a5 -- a8 == g8 forbids g6,i7=9 UP 81
Sets: 4. Max depth 2: Rating .06 Almost silly to put this puzzle on this page!

The scenery is very beautiful. Looks like a mountain in the background.

This was a fun trail to hike. Oftentimes we were so close to the creek that we were wading in the clear, clean water. I admired the magnificent red cliffs on each side of the canyon, some with petroglyphs, until we were a couple of miles from the truck and were caught in a thunderstorm, along with various fishermen. It was a runnnnn... back to the parking area. Not because we didn't have jackets for the downpour of rain, but because the lightning was striking way too closely and we were in a position for flash flooding. I would love to go back there again, but on a perfectly sunny day.

Hi HalT!
I posted a corrected puzzle later. With my first post, I omitted row 1, which had no candidates in it.

to Steve: possible proof of puzzle you posted yesterday (I started by looking at the AUR on 12, but then noticed the digit overload on 123, a more interesting puzzle than the pseudo-toughs here of late)

1) Start with 23
2) Locked: ac9=6 => ~ghi9=6
3) Locked: ghi9=1 => ~(gh8, ghi7)=1
4) HT:h871=123 == h9=1 -- h1=1 == HT:h987=123
=> ~NT:ghi9=123 & (NT: ghi9=123 == ghi9=4) proves ghi9=4
=> ~acd9=4, UP 30
5) Naked Pair: d87=48 => ~d21=4
6) Naked Pair: f54=48 => ~f8731=48, UP 38
7) Naked Triple: bce5=457 => ~fgi5=4, UP 81
