A new blog page that presents a step by step path to solve today's tough puzzle (in a somehwat non-mathematical style) will be available through the link in the upper right column, directly under 'Check out the Sudoku Blog'.

The new page should decloak about 2 hours after the new day here at sudoku.com.au.

I think it must be time I paid a visit to the Perth Zoo, although I'm afraid I don't like seeing animals locked up in cages.

By all means go the zoo, Anne. Although I am not familiar with the Perth Zoo specifically, I think you'll find very few cages there.

I am not sure if I have ever seen this animal before. Are they native to Australia? They have quite the tail!

Why it needs to all this long ringtail ? maybe to jump on the branches,ok, but why it has a ring shape?

Good mAen to everyone.

Very cute lemur buddies. I'm not a fan of cages either, Anne, but it appears these guys have plenty of room to roam.
Stay safe, those who are in snow country and enjoy your Valentine's Day!

WOW! I found this very challenging! Needed some power tricks. Jellyfish, Coloring, a Unique pair. Very fun (after some head-scratching). Opened with a naked quad, which gave me the hidden 69 Steve probably noticed first :) The usual reductions, locked candidates search hit a brick wall fast. Very nice, Author-person! Snow, sleet, freezing rain and I'll need to get the kids from school and off to the card shop to get Valentine's day cards. That's what I (always) get for procrastinating. Salutations all!

But they must have taken from the their native habitat and transported in cages, their movement restricted to a confined area for people to gaup at.

Many animals have rings around their tails, it provides camoflage. It is thought the ringtailed lemur needs a long tail to help it keep balance while climbing through trees in its native Madagascar. Were it not for zoos many animals would have already gone extinct do to poor wildlife management in their native ranges. Become a wildlife warrior and save a species near YOU!
