Today's rather easy tough puzzle is the topic of a new blog page.

A link to this page will be available through the link in the upper right column, directly under 'Check out the Sudoku Blog'.

The new page should be available about 1 hour after the new day here at sudoku.com.au.

That's some spider--it should be kept as a pet and walked on a leash ... not that I'm volunteering.

When spiders are present in a home it usually indicates that they are FEEDING. They eat... INSECTS. Usually UNDESIRABLE insects of which some can actually DO HARM such as mites, ticks, flys, ants etc. Except for brown recluse (found in houses) and black widow (usually not found in house, both of which don't bite unless provoked, spiders do not harm humans. They are beneficial arachnids (spiders, mites, ticks are arachnids not insects). Fear of spiders is arachniphobia (sp?)... however in the case of this photo... I would say it is a case of 'arachniphotia!'

That is either one tiny portrait or one HUGE spider! Beautiful painting with or without the spider.

Nicole sat for this painting many years ago and gave it to me for Mother's Day approx 8 or 9 years ago. Photo taken of the spider just recently around Christmas. Couldn't believe how spooky it looked. it has since moved on and out of the house....we think.....

Debb, check behind the portrait, at this time of the year they make their nest and you could end up with a few more babies in the house.
