fantastic photo, Anne. I love the contrast between the blue of the sea and the much lighter blue of the sky.

Bald Head is the name of the headland. King George Sound is where the Australian warships all gathered before leaving for the First World War. Albany was there last Australian port of call. (I hope my history lessons aren't letting me down!)

What a breathtaking picture and a beautiful area of the country you're in. The 'history' is an added delight. Anne, thank you for sharing all of this.

Beautiful, Anne! You really ought to be on the Tourism Board for Albany! And on the payroll ...

I'd appreciate knowing the source of the quotation above ...

Anne I have loved every single one of your pictures! I can't wait to visit Australia, everything looks so amazing. Thanks for another gorgeous view, and the accompaning history lesson ;)

Pretty easy today, still haven't moved on from lots of guessing though.

Anne, that is another lovely photo of your part of the country. I agree with Judy, you are giving your region free publicity all around the world. Albany is on my list of compulsory stops when we eventually get to WA - but only in the wildflower season.

5:59; I usually take about 15mts on tough, today's puzzle fell into place too easily, that's strange!

Anne, another beautiful photo, and timely, too. Ninety years ago America entered WWI. I was reading about it today, and found it interesting that WWI formed the conditions that have given us such problems in the Middle-East.

Thanks everyone for the lovely compliments but I have some wonderful scenery to work with.

Mark from Shenzhen, China, that is the natural colour of the photo, I don't know how to enhance them. It was a lovely clear day and the colour of the sky is reflected in the water.

For some reason, when it came up Albany I didn't think of Australia but the other Albany and I was amazed that there was another country that had such vivid colours... and then I took off my blond wig and realised it was one of Anne's photos.
