What a nice picture at the beach. (It is spitting snow here today.) |  |
Why do I like seeing warm, beachy pictures when it's cold outside and cold, snowy pictures when it's hot outside ... a case of 'the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence?' It is a beautiful fall morning here, with bright blue skies and frost on the leaf piles. |  |
Cute little Emily two days in a row. But what is a 'Bumpa'? |  |
Oh, it was interesting to read yesterday's comments on your puzzling habits. We may all have a bit of an addiction, but we go about it differently! |  |

Smiling little Emily from yesterday with Bumpa from Fire Island ~ now where have I seen that on here before? |  |
 don't brag Debby, it's cruelFinally a snow man |  |
'Bumpa' is how my son Charlie (now 19) pronounced 'Grandpa' when he was very young. I guess he had just turned 1 and couldn't prounce 'Grandpa' right at the time we were visiting my parents. He went to see his paternal grandparents a few months later, and was then able to call his other grandfather More... |  |
Emily is soooo cute--her smile makes my day. |  |
Another great photo of the effervescent Emily! Cheers, all. No frost here yet, but they're predicting a few flurries in the days ahead. Some avid golfers are still on the courses around here. |  |
23:38... That's a proud Grandpa there!!! And rightly so.. Emily is a cutie!! |  |
Hi Emily and Bumpa, you had a happy day - nice pic! 53:22 seem slow for puzzle today... |  |

Jill: Thanks for the explanation. I'm glad it wasn't because of 'things that go bumpa in the night'. (-_*) Sorry, couldn't resist. I have this thing about puns. I would guess that it is pronouced 'Bum-paw' not 'Bump-a'. |  |

I like beach pictures - it's 39F here, with a little sun. The wind is pretty fierce, and my maple tree finally dropped most of the rest of its leaves. The grass is covered again. Snow is predicted for tonight. |  |
Good afternoon to all! Come on Bumpa!!! Emily needs a dance partner! |  |
To JJJ - No bragging here...... I think you could call it whining....... I am not looking forward to winter this year. Where is Kuala Lumpur. I assume it is warm where you are? I will be glad to send some snow your way when it starts sticking. (I'll throw you a snowball.) |  |
 Good maEn everyone. |  |
KL is in Malaysia, about 3 degrees north of the equator. Always hot & humid, no seasons except hotter & wetter. I grew up in blizzardly cold Canada and still miss the snow ... |  |
The lovely Emily again! I was so flat out yesterday I've just done two days puzzles in a row! |  |
Hi HalT, Actually it is 'Bump-a' like 'Bump-uh.' We've actually met a few other Bumpas around too! |  |
jjj - had a very strange experience in KL airport last year. Arrived at KL in early hours of morning on a flight from Cape Town to KL and then on to Sydney. KL was a stop over for me so most of the other passengers disembarked at KL and left me sitting in the terminal buildings practically on my More... |  |
