, y'all! The icepack crown works - I woke up with a splitting headache last night. Still lingering today.

that you want.

I figured it's because I had a light dinner, then about an hour later went on a 4.2-mile run. I drank plenty of water with electrolytes afterwards. I wasn't hungry when I went to bed and I didn't eat anything after the run, so I'll betcha my blood sugar dropped.

That is Lynne's main headache remedy.

The early morning snack with water helped, as did breakfast... and a grande non-fat cappuccino which has a double shot of espresso! So yeah, I'm awake.
02/Jul/15 12:32 AM
Does Lynne get migraines, too? These often switch over to migraines . It's easy to eat the wrong things for those kinds of headaches, and usually I do. Seems like I might've gotten it right this time. I hope!
02/Jul/15 12:35 AM
No, thank goodness, hers are just regular headaches. They still hurt, though.

'Somewhere' sounds like a place I'd like to be right about now - a bit cooler than where I'll be today.

Happy Canada Day to all!

Unfortunately, it is a wet and very soggy day here in Ottawa. The Snowbirds fly-over of Parliament Hill hasn't happened. Hopefully the skies will clear later for all of tonight's planned festivities.

Happy Canada Day to all our Canadian friends.
I went to bed too early last night, had over 4 hours sleep so now I am wide awake doing puzzles. I even got under two minutes again tonight so I must be awake and alert. (The old brain is slowing down a bit these days!)
02/Jul/15 2:32 AM
I will add my good wishes to our Canadian friends, too!
02/Jul/15 2:58 AM
Kathy and June for the good wishes.I'm with you Greg, for clearing skies. It's very soggy, where I am, too.
02/Jul/15 3:15 AM
to residents of our beloved Northern Cousin! Enjoy the day, y'all!

So, what's the day like? Wondering how y'all celebrate - my guess is that it's similar to our July 4th.
02/Jul/15 3:31 AM
Everybody.

Sorry I haven't checked in for a few days. But I've read the older posts, so I should be caught up with everyone.

Happy Canada Day to Canuk Greg, Bev and any other Canadian friends. Have fun with your celebrations. I hope the weather clears wherever you're at.

Keith - Is your next step a pacemaker or something else? I hope they get you back into rhythm!
02/Jul/15 5:20 AM
My cardiologist is recommending a hybrid maze and an ablation, which supposedly have an 80-90% success rate. At least the hybrid maze is a fairly new procedure.
02/Jul/15 5:42 AM
On the actual day, Happy Canada Day.
02/Jul/15 5:44 AM
Morning all, pretty girl waiting in the wings.
