I have yet to develop a fondness for cacti. Then again, I haven't been around too many living where I do. So, there is hope for changing my opinion!

Very tenacious puzzle today:
1. Unique possibilities to 35.
2. If c6=8,locked 8s at ab7,d8=8 and central box is devoid of 8.So c6=4.UPs to 41.
3. If f5=1,g5=5=d3,and bottom right box is devoid of 5.So f1=1.UP42.

1)Start at 22,basic techniques to UP=35
2)(8):c8=d8-d4=a4,=>a7c6<>8.UP=41
3)(5)g2=f2-d3=d6-e56=(5)e8,=>g58<>8.UP=4 5
4)(9=5)i7-(5=3)f7-(3=7)f9-f5=(7-4)e5=h5-(4=3)h4-(3=9)h3
=>i3h89<>9.UP=47
5)YW:(9=1)c8- (1=5)h8-(5=9)i7,=>a7i8<>9.UP=81

Hi Sotir.In your Step 4),you state 7 at e5 enables 4 at h5.Can't d5=4 at this stage, as well (as at h5)?
A couple of typos,I think, in step3: d6 should read "d5" and g58<>8 should read "g58<>5" ?
Regards, Alfred.

This one would make a nice study on using uniqueness techniques. Only steps 5d, 5e, and 6b below are not standard easy techniques. All three invoke uniqueness.
1) start 22 UP 27
2) (LC1)c89 => c3<>1 UP 35
3) (FXW8) f7=f6-c6=c78 => ab7<>8 UP 41
4a) (lc4)g12 => More...

Hi again Sotir.After seeing Steve's step 5c),it finally dawned on me that d5=56 (not 4).

Thanks Alfred,
Typos:3)d6 should read d5 and g58<>8 should read g58<>5.Step 4 is OK.
Regards,Sotir.
