From the List of the toughest puzzles without Eureka Notation proofs (Sep 06,2010,updated Jan 03,2011):
I found tough Nov 26,2007 SE=9.0, a monster.Tried to solve,got to UP=31 and gave up.Hope the others to
finish it.See that page.

sotir, couldn't make progress with Nov.26.07 either. More doable is Dec.31.06 SE=8.9 - just posted eureka solution (not a monster, can be solved w/o krakens, 5 AIC max depth 5).

Jan.1.07 SE=8.4 is another reasonably tough one for solvers wanting to stay in shape with harder problems.
