G'day mates. Here's today's daffynition:
teenager — One whose hang-ups do not include clothes.

...and here's today's factoid:
Boy George was sacked from his job as a shelf-stacker at Tesco for wearing the store’s carrier bags. Tesco considered his appearance to be “disturbing”.

Hello, friends!
No today. It's cloudy for the next few days.
My favorite 'start time' (Midnight Aussie time) was the 9AM start for me that just ended.
09/Apr/13 12:00 AM
I got caught up in a computer game, and a rerun of Criminal Minds.

That was an unintentional drop in on this page, thought I was still back before turnover.
09/Apr/13 12:02 AM
It's an Australian picture, 'cos they're cockatoos.

My first post on this page was my explanation for being here at this time when I'm not working.
09/Apr/13 12:04 AM
But now it's time to call it a night.
09/Apr/13 12:04 AM
Goodnight!

How can you tell, CP? They don't even look like birds to me.

Good Maen friends - wishing all a great week.

YAY! I was able to walk around the school building this morning.

I was moveable yesterday, sort of, but in small spurts. I was worried about walking my girl to class this morning, but made it to her building and back to the car. Thought I was done for the day, until Man called and now trying to get out the door to run some errands. Really, doubt any running will be involved.

Happy day, everyone!

What a gorgeous photo! What a fire-y sky! For a minute, I was wondering if the birds might turn into a group of Phoenixes! (Is that a word?)
09/Apr/13 12:15 AM
Keith had better arrive soon!
09/Apr/13 12:16 AM
Seems to be a fast start. (Probably the new time.)

Trying to creep up slowly...

Hilarious factoid, Kayo!
09/Apr/13 12:18 AM
everyone!

Gorgeous photo today! I guessed cockatoos. I can just barely make out a crest on the bird on the left. Time for new glasses, Hal?

We are back from St Louis, had a good trip.
09/Apr/13 12:19 AM
It's hard to tell what kind of cockatoos they are, but I clearly see cockatoos, too.
09/Apr/13 12:20 AM
DRAT! I went back to look at the photo again, and we were only on 16. I thought I would get my ''Good morning'' in before we hit 22.
I guess the good news is I actually looked at the comment numbers! A lot of good it did me.....

RIP Margaret Thatcher

Fabulous photo! Cockatoo sillouettes!

I seem to have baffled the poozlers yesterday. All sorts of answers except the one I had: New Zealand (All countries in the ''A'' group use the dollar as official currency).
EXCEPT, that wizard of finance, GREG! The man puts Scrooge McDuck to shame.
Speaking of other countries, for Greg's More...
09/Apr/13 12:35 AM
And for today......

In this poozle your task is to try and form words that begin and end with the same letter. You must use a different letter for each set.

e.g. _ OAS _

Answer: T OAS T

1. _ IC _
2. _ UR _
3. _ LS _
4. _ UTC _
5. _ WIS _
6. _ YLO More...

Looks to me like they all have crests that are spread open.
09/Apr/13 12:50 AM
A great woman died - where are the flags flying at 1/2 mass?
09/Apr/13 1:03 AM
I can think of two possible interpretations for Kayo's daffynition, and one of them is not terribly fun for an old, male teacher.
09/Apr/13 1:57 AM
Well, the second hour certainly slowed down. I have just about time to work the Medium puzzle, I think.
09/Apr/13 1:58 AM
