Have never heard of 'English May' before, Wendy.
Looks like a mixture of Mums & Baby's Breath! Wonder if it has a nice scent?

I have a May Bush in my garden. So called because it flowers in May in the Northern Hemisphere. Mine flowers in September (Spring).

Hello everyone!
Gorgeous! Thanks Wendy!
Beautiful fluffy May Bush!!
You might know it as Spiraea, Shiela, or Bridal Wreath. This originally came from Korea. Full name is Spiraea prunifolia ''Plena''. There's a slightly different Variety from China - Chinese Spiraea (of course!!), Spiraea cantoniensis. The family is Rosaceae & they do look a bit like tiny little roses!!

I also have one in my garden. It was taken from a cutting in my Uncle's garden, and he had taken his cutting from my Granny's garden. When spring comes I will try to grow some cuttings for my nieces and nephews gardens.
