Letter, Part 1/2
Someone sent me this hilarious ‘letter’ that I simply have to post – with thanks to whoever wrote it in the first place. Watch for the punch line at the end.
[Text of a letter from a kid from Eromanga to Mum and Dad.
(For Those of you not in the know, Eromanga is a small More...

Letter, Part 2/2

This one will kill me brothers Doug and Phil with laughin’. I keeps getting medals for shootin' - dunno why. The bullseye is uz big as a bl**dy dingo's ass; an’ it don't move; an’ it's not firing back at ya like the Johnsons did when our big scrubber bull got into their More...

Rayray Saw that one before, but I love it.
09/Jul/11 12:35 AM
maen all y'all. Pull up a stump and have a cup.

09/Jul/11 12:37 AM
Like the letter home, Rayray. Thanks.
09/Jul/11 12:39 AM
Rayray, I've never seen the Aussie version before, just the U.S. redneck version. Thanks for sharing. It is a hoot. I'll be saving it.

Morning, Jerry. I'll have to take decaf. I did a no-no yesterday and drank ... wait for it ... one can of Coca-cola at 8 p.m. and it kept me up until almost 4 a.m.!
09/Jul/11 12:42 AM
Jerry I just went and made coffee. Your late.
09/Jul/11 12:42 AM
but I will join you.
09/Jul/11 12:43 AM
Rayray I showed that one to my 19yo who has a fine sense of humour. I have never seen it before and neither has he. I have tears rolling down my face and he is still laughing. Susan sounds just like what my mother would have written after she first left the farm.

Good morning. Great letter home, Rayray. Plum, I had the same thing happen to me a couple of days ago. I love my morning coffee, but any caffeine after lunchtime keeps me up at night.
09/Jul/11 12:50 AM
Little Plum can do Mr. Cee's latest puzzle, so you can see if you're "smarter than a 5th grader"!

Love the Math-U-See curriculum.

Good morning people of the world.

The A/C fixer man did not call yesterday afternoon and I am still waiting this morning for the call.

Oh, what a feeling.

That's a mighty fine agricultural display. Lots of work went into it. Everything's so processed any more. It's amazing how many city folk don't realize where their food comes from.
09/Jul/11 1:03 AM
I did the same thing Saturday night, Plum. A Coke at the ballgame around 8 pm. I got to sleep at 5:00 am. Will I never learn???

Is the photo today one of Sarah Beth's cows making a break for it?

HI all! "Batteries" was the correct answer to yesterday's puzzle. Well done to grasshopper (eventually!), PeterQ, Kathy, Greg, Eve, Aileen.
09/Jul/11 1:04 AM
Over to you batwoman, have a good weekend all!
09/Jul/11 1:05 AM
Yikes. Keith ... where were you? Karen evidently jumped before your caffeine had time to soak in.
09/Jul/11 1:05 AM
Type too soon. Mr. A/C fixer man called. Well, he called Man. Now, hope Man gets home before 5 so we can go pick it up, or we will have to wait till Monday.

Hi, Fiona! Bye, Fiona!
09/Jul/11 1:12 AM
Ah well. Wandered away for a while and lost my chance.

The Giants are still in first place in the west, 2 games ahead. St. Louis is tied for first in the central division, so technically, Jim could still be posting with his SL Avatar.

Happy Friday!
Rayray: Funny letter (have seen the American version, but not the Aussie one before, too)

Still mulling over Kathy's puzzle (#1 and #8 are still drawing blanks...)

Sorry Dorthea, I slept in.

Good morning my sudoku friends. Early enough to make the first page. A cold frosty morning here.
09/Jul/11 3:27 AM
This is the first year those down under have convinced me that it actually gets cold in Australia. Is this winter's weather unusual?
09/Jul/11 3:28 AM
Going up ...
