It's beautifully sunnnnny!
And a little warmer...
A great September autumn* day!

My kitchen is being demolished as I type. They have put plastic over the door to the rest of the house, but I'm still coughing from all the dust.
Luckily, I have an eye doctor appointment this morning and can escape for awhile.

Stand back, everyone!

Day 11 and day 10.

1. Since the money in the piggy bank doubles with each passing day, the piggy bank will be half-full the day previous to the one on which it gets full. Thus, the piggy bank will be half-full on the 11th day.

Sacky (if you missed my response to your question yesterday), we will be going down the Mississippi, from St. Paul MN to St. Louis MO, starting Saturday.

G'day mates.
Still no daffynition again today.
It seems yesterday's factoid was not totally correct. I shall try for better accuracy henceforth.
Here's today's factoid:
The bald eagle's nest can weigh as much as a ton.
17/Sep/14 1:23 AM

And happy anniversary, S'gal.
17/Sep/14 1:23 AM
Well, 'Happy Easter' for 2/3's on today's photo, anyway!

Good afternoon to all! A good looking family despite the babies current unhappiness. The flash probably scared him.
17/Sep/14 2:13 AM
Hal, it sounds like a great time. Are you on the Queen of the Mississippi? I had some neighbours upstairs who did that cruise two years ago and they really enjoyed it!
17/Sep/14 2:16 AM
We'll be on the American Queen, a stern-wheeler.
17/Sep/14 2:47 AM
Hal, that sounds like my kind of cruise
17/Sep/14 2:51 AM
22! Dedicated to Keith!

Spent the day at the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens. A really scenic and relaxing place. Heidi would probably be at home here. Recommend a visit to anyone visiting Ireland.
17/Sep/14 3:17 AM

And a Happy Birthday to young Keith........hope you have many more of them.
17/Sep/14 3:18 AM
Thx for the birthday wishes. Our cruise ship's WiFi costs $.75 a minute, so I'll thank people individually after we get back home.

HalT - I'm sure you'll enjoy your Mississippi River trip on the American Queen. I hope the weather is dry and clear so you can enjoy the scenery!
17/Sep/14 3:43 AM
Sacky - Looks like you had a great weekend at Cradle Mt. It's hard to believe it's almost time for your trip to the US.
17/Sep/14 3:44 AM
Keith. Enjoy your 2 day celebration!

I have been so busy the last few days don't know if I am coming or going, maybe just circles.
17/Sep/14 4:38 AM
Keith, may you have a great day.

Good morning all. Happy floating Hal. My first thought was the Mississippi - probably because it's the only river in the US I know. I guess I know a few more in a fortnights time.
17/Sep/14 6:50 AM
For any one interested and missed my yesterday's post, I have put some pics on my page showing the beauty of Cradle Mountain. There's even a wombat and a cute snowman there.
17/Sep/14 6:52 AM
Keith! I'm sure you're having a good one.
