Thanks to all who submitted vomit synonyms! Daughter Rebecca scored 100% on her oral presentation – prof. said it was the best presentation of all! Rebecca says big thanks to all, and especially those who suggested ‘chunder’, which is her personal favorite. ☺

Great shot of Father Christmas. I'm not ready for Christmas - let me have Hallowe'en first!
 |  |
Ok, I am confused. Who is he kissing?

2:53 Good evening everyone. The Pope? Father Christmas? Little Bo Peep? Definitely a cat in there though, hiding in the beard!!

Suzanne, I don't think that was what Bill meant, and as a female you CAN'T do it, and Bill, eeeeeeeeew, that comment would get you swept and well and truly mopped. You have to be a supporting member to use emoticons, but being an IT technician, maybe you'd know a way around it.
Alene, we were glad to help. Of course an Aussie term won out! We have slang or an abbreviation for everything.

No, the man is whisper his wish list in Santa's ear.

Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight...

'Jolly Ol' Saint Nicholas, lean your ear this way'

Alene - Congratulations to your daughter for her 'grade' and Congratulations to you and your family for your first Grandchild. How exciting it must be!

Didn't get the timer turned on. Not sure what's happening here, and I'm not going to comment much on this one, but we do still have Halloween and Thanksgiving before Christmas.

Hi - Jim - Nice to see you back (at least on the front page) take care.

We have another day with light snow flurries. This just seems early in the year to start with this snow business, but it is appropriate for this picture!

I just took out a double batch of oatmeal/raisin cookies. I wish you were all here to share them with you.

everybody! It's good to be home again after two weeks away in South Carolina & North Carolina. I rarely had a chance to do Sudoku online or read comments so I'm way behind on what's going on here in Sudokuland. I'll pop into my computer room on & off today in between unpacking More...

LK - How is my cyber-traveling companion? Do you have any snow out your way?

Is this Santa or the Pope? Either way, why is he embracing grown man kissing him?

Strawberry Fertilizer
A farmer was driving along the road with a load of fertilizer. A little boy, playing in front of his house, saw him and called, 'What've you got in your truck?'
'Fertilizer,' the farmer replied.
'What are you going to do with it?' asked the little boy.
'Put it on More...

Greetings from Margaret River. I have spent the day being grannie, only problem, it started at 4 am. I had forgotton all about nightmares. Then the petting zoo and berry farm, games in the garden etc. all this followed dinner , well washed with local juice of the vine, but all of it so worth the trip, the time is already speeding past.No to check on the posts I've missed

Jim had an awful day fishing on the lake, sitting in the blazing sun all day without catching a single one. On his way home, he stopped at the supermarket and ordered four catfish. He told the fish salesman, 'Pick four large ones out and throw them at me, will you?'
'Why do you want me to throw More...

I'm all for telling your wish list to Santa, but that picture just looks creepy.

Hi Debby! We had some rainy days, but also some beautiful sunny ones with temps in the 80's a few days. Gorgeous to walk the beach with hardly anyone else around! Even got up early enough to catch a few pretty sunrises! Lows hit 50's in NC. Heat on a few days & AC on others! I was amazed to see the baseball fans in Detroit all bundled up last night! Where in MI do you live?
 |  |
GannieMo - So nice to see your name here! I know your time for this site will be greatly reduced while you are with your family. Totally different lifestyle with little ones around, isn't it!!! Hope you had a good trip over. How long will you be staying there?

Welcome home KATHY!! We've missed you!

3:49 ....oh, Christmas is coming... GREAT!
 |  |
I'm all for Christmas but wholeheartedly agree that it shouldn't start until after Thanksgiving (Nov. 23 here in the US). Yet the stores start putting up Christmas displays earlier each year.

Kathy - we have 3 weeks in W A but the family fly out on saturday (day before the big 60) but we shall be seeing Anne in Albany next week and Billy in Perth the week after - hopefully Rola also.
If any one out there has never been to Western Australia you really are missing one of the most More...

Kathy - I am about an hour north of Detroit. We are about half way between Pontiac and Flint. It is chilly here. Our temperature is about 34 degrees. We are looking forward to retirement in the SW corner of Virginia. (Two miles north of North Carolina.) We are hoping for more mild winters More...

Kathy - It sounds like you had a nice trip. I am looking forward to moving to VA and doing some trips to the ocean. My parents live in Cape Coral, FL. We left their house a few years ago and went up to our property. That was the only time I have ever been in S. Carolina. I am also looking forward to visiting Savannah, Georgia someday.
