05/Mar/17 1:56 AM
Ive been to yesterday's page....
05/Mar/17 2:10 AM
I've. Read it, done the puzzle, printed off Wombat's puzzle and still there is no-one here.

05/Mar/17 2:12 AM
So, I'll say goodnight and maybe come back later in the day.
05/Mar/17 2:13 AM
Hal! Nighty night Anne and CP!
05/Mar/17 2:36 AM
I've just seen Wombat's poozle from yesterday. I'd better get busy. This one is a little different, it seems.......
05/Mar/17 2:39 AM
Morning. Off to visit family today for about a week. Will drop by when I can.
05/Mar/17 2:49 AM
Happy Saturday weekend off!
Nice Chinese New Year float pic, although if you were born in 1948, this is your year (Sis is a Rat) not 1947, etc...sorry, Kate (I think this may be your pic?)
05/Mar/17 3:05 AM
I'm a rat!
05/Mar/17 4:29 AM
It's one of those day!
A bit chilly, though.
05/Mar/17 4:30 AM
Nice float! Sleeping pig with a big smile.
05/Mar/17 4:40 AM
Morning all, pretty pig feeding it's piglets.
05/Mar/17 5:00 AM
05/Mar/17 5:08 AM
Not to worry, Shiela! My older son was born in the year of the rat. They're clever, quick thinkers, fast!
05/Mar/17 5:09 AM
(Just so it doesn't involve math!)
05/Mar/17 5:49 AM
I'm confused. Why is there a pig float in the Year of the Rat parade?
05/Mar/17 6:37 AM
1:27. Good morning everyone.
05/Mar/17 6:46 AM
Good mAen, good people. I've been working on sewing something to send to a gallery show in Portland, OR. Keith's not around to race with?
05/Mar/17 6:50 AM
So I'll 22 by myself?
05/Mar/17 6:51 AM
Guess so. Well, I'm off to the grocery store as soon as my phone charges enough to last the trip. I ran it down playing the 2nd audiobook in the Harry Potter series while sewing.

The library's waiting list is so long for the audiobooks. I put in for the first one in October, listened More...

Sorry poozlers, I've made my usual stuff up, so in number 4 change RESISTANCE into WAY DOWN and in column E change IANCE into P.
I'll post the amended poozle when I can get to my computer. There is only so much I can do with an iPad.
05/Mar/17 7:36 AM
Wombat - do you mean REFUSAL (instead of RESISTANCE) should be changed to WAY DOWN? The 4th one down, D_E____ , says REFUSAL on the puzzle I copied out to work on.
05/Mar/17 8:13 AM
🌨⛄️🌞 Good mAen - I also use my library - can place items on hold prior to their issue date - but long waits can occur. For books, they started a quick pick - you may find a popular pick and can check out for 2,weeks!
05/Mar/17 8:32 AM
Yes! I suppose I answered my own question because I solved them all accurately (I think) changing REFUSAL to WAY DOWN and IANCE to P.
05/Mar/17 8:32 AM
Got cookies baking - was going to try a muffin in a mug - but milk has to be room temp - so maybe tomorrow that will be my treat
05/Mar/17 8:33 AM
I'm a 'boar'🐷
05/Mar/17 8:34 AM
Plum: Do you ride your phone to the grocery store?
05/Mar/17 9:21 AM
Happy birthday Mads and Kia Ora. Kia Ora used to be a popular name for houses back in the days when people felt their house wasn't complete without a sign proclaiming its name.
05/Mar/17 9:59 AM
Here is what yesterday's puzzle should look like.

This week's Saturday poozle is a bit different to the usual 'fore and aft' ones, but similat to last weeks. It is more a 1&3 poozle,
This time I will work through the alphabet again giving you the first and third letters of a word and a More...

Continuing the theme of naming houses, there is a village in Tasmania called Doo Town where the occupants include DOO in the name of their house, such as Dr. DOOLITTLE and DOO DROP IN. See http://www.wheressharon.com/australian-travels/things-to-do-in-tasmania/hanging-whacky-doo-town/ for more details.

Yep, been there. Down near Eaglehawk Neck - Pirates Bay area.
This is a very narrow neck of land and in convict days a line of savage dogs was placed there to deter any escapees. The rumour was also spread that sea around the area was infested with man eating sharks.

Just some more useless info for those who like to gather it.
05/Mar/17 3:17 PM
Bedtime. Night all.
05/Mar/17 3:43 PM
I just changed E to F for number 4, and I like Wombat's original word better. So there!
05/Mar/17 4:49 PM
I've been there too, and my great grandfather's brother was a guard there. They were both members of the Fortieth Somersetshire Regiment, and both served in Tasmania.
There is a book For the term of His Natural Life by Marcus Clark which is a fictionalised rendition of the gaol at Port Arthur and about Eaglehawk Neck. An Australian Classic.

We are nearly at the bottom of the page, and Hal's in bed. Who wants to turn the page.
05/Mar/17 6:30 PM
