We took a group of American school children here, and they were asked to lower the flag at sunset and sing the National Anthem. Slow this morning - 5:26. A very sobering reminder indeed, particularly at this time of year when so many are looking forward to holidays with their families - there are so many around the world who cannot because they're looking after the rest of us.
