Yes, DoA... two glasses of vino is usually my dinner and after dinner fare. That second glass I can sip on for hours.

Peter, love the interview with Ms. Hattie!

Wombat and CakeLady - you'll also see TOS thrown around here. 'The Other Site'... when you're on here it means Facebook; when you're on Facebook it means here!

CYL - See (C) you later
TTYL - Talk to you later
TTFN - Ta-ta for now
BFN - Bye for now

I think those are the More...

Hello, Shosho! (Saving your luck for you!)
30/Jul/15 12:43 AM
Good morning people of the world.
30/Jul/15 12:48 AM
I am sure Shosho will not mind, as long is the drink is strong.
Should help her with her dancing, which I believe is tonight or soon.

If you go to the headings at the top of the page and click on Forums, and scroll down to find Off Topic Forums and click on Off Topic Threads, you'll find a very interesting list of all sorts of subjects of interest to our group. One of the listed topics is ''Sudokuspeak.'' Lots of blasts from the past in there.
30/Jul/15 12:51 AM
In my observing, I will add to the list.

FPA-Food Preparation Area

Because no one should use the no-no world.

everone!

Did anyone mention TOP (top of page) or BOP (bottom of page)?

It's funny. I didn't realize just how many ''Sudokuisms'' we use here.
30/Jul/15 12:52 AM
I had forgotten about that, Keith!
30/Jul/15 12:53 AM
Girls have been with MIL for 4 days and my house still looks like my darlings are home. I had great plans for this week and so far my only accomplishment is to have taken my offerings to the road on the right day.

Dust bunnies are having a free for all here, since they know I am not going to mess with them. For the last two months, between Man's home improvements and the city's reconstruction, it is totally useless to rearrange the dust bunnies.

The answer to yesterday's poozle:

Answer: 2,200 miles.
Vowels are worth 300 miles and consonants are worth 200 miles.

The ''Fiona Award'' goes to winners lonewoof and Wombat!

On some great news, the library committee has asked me again to join them. Thinking about taking a those baby steps in rejoining the physical world.
30/Jul/15 12:59 AM
OK, dear Keith, I am going to start rambling.
30/Jul/15 12:59 AM
Shiela, take those babies and squeeze them and kiss them and never let them go. They will like that.
30/Jul/15 1:00 AM
Dum..didi..dum..dididi
Tap. Tap. Tap.

OK. Gallump.
30/Jul/15 1:01 AM
Did he pounce in or did I actually do it?
30/Jul/15 1:02 AM
Notice I need a correction, may need more but this is the first one.

In no one should use the no-no world, that should be word.

Wombat, Fiona is a member living in France, but from Scotland. She detested how the word ''Awesome!'' is thrown around nowadays. We don't see much of her here anymore, but, she FINALLY came over to the dark side and joined our Facebook sudoku group. We think that was

And, for today.....

Assign every letter of the alphabet its numerical value: A=1, B=2, C=3, and so on, up to Z=26.

Can you find a familiar 11 letter word whose letter values total only 52?

Answers to my ''How magical!'' inbox, please.

Oh, I am in need of a quick sewer. I ordered some Maxi dresses for our upcoming trip and must have ordered on a really fat day and there is no time for returning. There is probably enough material in those two dresses, to make three dresses out of each. M was so sweet when I tried them on. She said I looked fantastic, even though I was covered and layered in 10 miles of material.
30/Jul/15 1:21 AM
Oh, who remembers what the word flowerpot meant? It has been a while since we used it.

That big, box thing, in the FPA that helps prepare food. Again another no-no word.
30/Jul/15 1:24 AM
Oops again, the word I needed is seamstress.
30/Jul/15 1:32 AM
how did I know Karen was back?!?!?!?
30/Jul/15 1:32 AM

30/Jul/15 2:30 AM
Thank you, Shiela!!! Here's flying your way!!!
30/Jul/15 2:30 AM
Karen, yesterday was the last practice! Oh Lord, it's going to take a miracle for me not to trip over my feet or look like I have no idea what I'm doing! I'm going to find an excellent dancer and go behind her so I can copy her!!! There's about 15 dances and two hours to perform, ouch!
30/Jul/15 2:32 AM
And to make matters worse we will have live music! Now we really can't goof up! Not when these guys go to the trouble to come and play the traditional instruments and sing for us.
30/Jul/15 2:34 AM
Well, lookee, lookee! What great timing and Karen and HalT must be distracted elsewhere!!!
30/Jul/15 2:35 AM
I'm going to run for it . . .
30/Jul/15 2:35 AM
Getting there . . .
30/Jul/15 2:36 AM
