everyone!
We weather the weather whether we like it or not!
Our heat wave ended yesterday. It's 57°F (13.8°C) now.
Will be 75°F (23.8°C) later today.
No need for these: - The rain just started.

Seems I have been doing it all wrong, Shiela. I celebrate my children everyday. Apparently, I am supposed to do it like Valentine's, Father's, and Mother's Day, one day only.

OK, kid's in the closet with the rest of the decorations, take you out next year.

Good Maen, all. Looks to be another hot sunny day in WNC. Lil ol' Max is sleeping in a sunny spot, soaking up vitamin D and getting his strength back. I'm off shortly for a Guardian Ad Litem luncheon and will be back later to do the puzzle and catch up on the comments.
Have a great day, y'all!

Another beautiful day, today; made even more so by the fact our grandchildren are coming to visit for the weekend.
11/Jun/11 12:25 AM
Today in Sudokuland is hubby's birthday, but we celebrated yesterday because he is leaving immediately after work for a golf weekend. I told him to wish for a hole-in-one when he blows out his candles!

Oh, Linda enjoy.
MIL wanted the girls this weekend, but she has her sister's retirement party. We looked at the calendar and I feel 3 people are going to go through withdrawal systems. Next weekend is Father's day, next the girl's birthdays, then the 4th of July, and I cannot remember if it the More...

Better to put them in the closet, than in a car trunk.

I don't even put the cats in a closet, but then I really don't have room there. Did put one in the bathroom the other night for a time out because it was in scurry mode just as some of us we heading to bed. It just curled up on the hamper and waited for release, no crying or scratching at the door, so I guess it understood.
11/Jun/11 12:40 AM
ooooh Karen What is it?
11/Jun/11 12:40 AM
Thanks, Karen. I will. There is nothing I love more than seeing my grandkids. Hope your little ones get to see their grandma soon!

11/Jun/11 12:46 AM
to Shiela's hubby, hope he has a good one.
11/Jun/11 12:48 AM
Jeanine, I live in a 18th century house, they did not need closets back then. Man has put in 3 closets and they are packed full.

The Things said Daddy needs an ice cream maker. I agreed. He would have liked the Mountain something ice cream maker, but we picked out the one that makes yogurt, ice cream and something else.
11/Jun/11 12:49 AM
You are sooooo right, Linda! I'll get my two older grandsons (ages 5 & 2) tomorrow, too. May be a bit more of a challenge w/o grandpa... I'm not as good at baceball!
11/Jun/11 12:49 AM
Thanks, Sue & Karen. Older hubby will be happy playing golf with the guys in Northern Michigan, I'm sure!
11/Jun/11 12:51 AM
Seems I am having a little problem remembering words today.
Actually, my brain cell is in overload. I have over looked things around here for 10 days now. I cannot over look any longer. Trying to make a plan, that will be easiest for my head to handle. It is not working. The plan is not working, not the head.
11/Jun/11 12:52 AM
See you later! I'm off to exercise!
11/Jun/11 12:52 AM
Just read the box. The ice cream maker makes ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbet.
11/Jun/11 12:55 AM
Aloha Friday!
Going to have dim sum lunch with relatives today.

Some of us girl cousins got together yesterday for a crafty morning, learning how to make eyelash yarn leis (1 cousin taught the other 2 of us), with assorted sushi and pasta salad to dine on!
11/Jun/11 12:58 AM
Karen, every day is ice tea day, even in the winter.
11/Jun/11 1:04 AM
Yep, Sue. I have my tea brewing.
11/Jun/11 1:09 AM
