Hello, John.
11/Aug/10 12:05 AM
3:03 I hadn't realised I had taken so long to do the puzzle.
Good evening one and all!
11/Aug/10 12:10 AM
Good Maen kids - and Jeanine!
Did anyone else experience the change-over today about 10 minutes late?
Maybe I'm in some sort of time-warp here...I wouldn't doubt it considering how confused I can get these days!
11/Aug/10 12:10 AM
I certainly hope you are not warped, Vici!
11/Aug/10 12:13 AM
Happy Tuesday!

11/Aug/10 12:14 AM
Thanks for the picture, Kate...but my neck is getting a crick in it from looking up!
11/Aug/10 12:14 AM
Warped again!!
11/Aug/10 12:15 AM
The bark is so interesting, Kate!
(See you at the chiropractor, Vici!)
11/Aug/10 12:20 AM
Yep - definitely need that adjustment!
11/Aug/10 12:21 AM
Interesting picture.
11/Aug/10 12:24 AM
I think it's bark is worse than it's height.
11/Aug/10 12:32 AM
Well, I had better think about going to bed. What shall I count tonight; sheep, pigs or barking dogs!
11/Aug/10 12:36 AM
everyone from sunny So. Oregon...
11/Aug/10 12:38 AM
all from beautiful So. Oregon.

Familiar with Mellaluca Bark, we use it on float in making trees.

Complaints sent by UK Tourists to a UK Holiday Company.

1. "I think it should be explained in the brochure that the local store
does not sell proper biscuits like custard creams or ginger nuts."

2. "It's lazy of the local shopkeepers to close in the afternoons. More...

11/Aug/10 12:57 AM
Soooooo funny, Neil!
11/Aug/10 12:57 AM
And Jane takes 22 on a fast bike!
11/Aug/10 12:58 AM
I came in at 18. In the time it took me to read the comments, Jane swooped.
11/Aug/10 12:58 AM
Neil - that would be funny if it weren't somewhat true! (And it applies to tourists from all over - not just the UK!)

For my western hemisphere friends, it was so late when I downloaded my pics of Fiona and family that I announce again. I think I am spreading the spurious eating habits of the Americans. Eric with great reluctance gave up his flimsy plastic fork and knife in favor of his hands trying to eat the gooey rubbery pizza!
11/Aug/10 1:00 AM
Ok! It's good to know I haven't lost my speed after a week's vacation. Off to the grocery store now. See you later!
11/Aug/10 1:00 AM
You can't believe how reluctant Europeans and Australians are to eating their hamburgers and pizzas with their hands! Even Fiona delicately attacked her tuna sandwich with her plasticware! At least she didn't break hers. The kids however took up the American habit with gusto!
11/Aug/10 1:03 AM
Even with their parents disapproving eyes, they had eyes only for me and my sloppy habits!
11/Aug/10 1:04 AM
Gooey rubbery pizza!? ... how appetizing.
11/Aug/10 1:04 AM
I think it'll be a llllooooonnnngggg time before Fiona will try the west coast again! Especially after I taught the kids to make loud ghostly wails in darken hallways!
11/Aug/10 1:05 AM
Hey we were hungry! These European eat late!
11/Aug/10 1:06 AM
Jane should be heading back from her shopping soon
Wave as she goes by!

Thanks for my morning laugh, Neil! WFM indeed!

Off to check out Shosho's photos!
11/Aug/10 1:06 AM
Well have to go, got a classroom to put into order. Decided this year I wasn't going to come late and make a mad dash effort to do so.
11/Aug/10 1:07 AM
Bye! Will check in later!
11/Aug/10 1:09 AM
Fun batch of pictures, shosho.
11/Aug/10 1:12 AM
Before I go.....

The answers to yesterday's puzzle:
1. cartridge 2. earnest 3. neighboring 4. grammar

for Eve, Greg, and The Phantom (who gets extra credit for also adding the Oz spelling of "neighboUring")
11/Aug/10 1:26 AM
Great pics, shosho!!
