Today is my youngest grandchild, Hunter's 4th birthday!!

Our next-door neighbors are getting a new roof. Hammering and banging since early this morning. It is not the most pleasant way to be awakened. I groggily mentioned this to hubby (the early riser in this house). His loving and caring comment: ''If you went to bed earlier it wouldn't be such a trauma for you. They'll probably take a lunch break....have a nap''. He is nothing if not practical.

Morning all, we went to Sealake yesterday to see the paintings on the wall of the buildings and have lunch. Needed a nap when we got back. Wish I could get the photo to be accepted on here to show you.

Good mAEn, good people. I’m working on a St Paddy’s dinner too. Homemade fat free and tender corned venison with potatoes, of course. I didn’t think to shop ahead for Brussels sprouts (we prefer them to cooked cabbage) and red ale so it’s green beans then Irish coffee (decaf) for dessert.

Am off for my wife's St. Paddy dinner. Am sure it will be great!!
